You can really tell just by looking that this was a labor of love, there are so many amazing details everywhere you look. I think some of my favorite details are in the halo and the connecting port on her back. You have a real knack for painting metal.
So how does it feel to finally have this completed? I forget how long you've been plugging away at it but I know it's been a while.

Thanks! The metal isn't quite as bad to paint as you'd think it would be. The main issue is that it has a bunch of different effects that all need to be present before it starts to look right.
It's nice, mostly because I can move on to other things with a clear conscience now.

Heh, thanks. It's mostly because I ground away at the thing for like a month straight, I think. Some really great info on rendering in these books (artbypapercut.com/ ) helped a ton as well.
