Haha, I really love the contrast with the No Smoking sign in the stairway. You can really picture him getting out of there to finally have a smoke.
Overall it's a very nice capture that can tell a little story on its own; maybe would have helped a bit if you chose a different f/stop to give more focus on the subject you photographed. I personally think the background is a tad too loud in a few areas.

I agree about the background, but it's at f/2 and the focus is spot on him. I think I just needed to find a different background or get closer. Though as I'm typing, I'm thinking one solution would be to used the very edge of the DOF. What I mean is focus a little bit closer so he's still in focal range but the background isn't. Anyway, thanks for the feedback! You helped me consider something I hadn't before!
