There is a great deal to like in this photo by burningmonk. Ordinarily, I do not care for angled photos, but it works here mainly due to the curve of the main road which draws the eye into the background with aid from the light-trails.
The blues, reds, and greens are well balanced in the composition.
That it was a rainy night adds a great deal to this photo. The wet shine on the right side of the photo balances well with the building lights on the left. The droplets on the lens are a plus.
I hesitate to use "not like" in saying I do not like the car details at the bottom. While they fit with the composition, I think it would have been just as effective, if not more so, if there had only been the light trails. Where the cars do work, however. is as a starting point in the motion of the story told by the photo.
