Description
Lunar Eclipse is the Amethyst of Gravity, and the partner of Nicole the Lynx.

Lunar Eclipse is one of the younger amethysts, and while her mental maturity is in her mid-teens, she's retained the million-questions-a-minute trait of younger kids. This trait has led to her being exceptionally curious and notorious for getting into things she shouldn't be.

She took on the host of Dr. Nicole Ellidy, her curious nature leading the two of them become the leading Physicist in the world, specializing in the study of the various energies that endow mobians with unnatural abilities. She's always wanted to get a hold of the files of Project Shadow to find out how exactly Professor Robotnik created such a power Chaos Energy user, but of course those files are sealed.

Eclipse's manifestation was not due to an attack, but was a surprise just the same. It was her assistant, Shard Hedgehog, that contacted the other Amethysts when her power over gravity awoke and she found herself floating up to the ceiling and not being able to get back down. As soon as she was told about the Amethysts and their mission she was all over it. Finally, another kind of energy for her study! She became part of the 'Science Division' of the Amethysts, with each of the members' specialties being in a different area: Eclipse in energy, Sapling in biology, and Harvest and Charge on Geology and mechanics. Together, if you have a question about how anything works, more than likely one of them will find the answer for you.

Neither Eclipse nor Nicole really have any concept of personal space, so it's not uncommon for her to just be floating behind you and reading over your shoulder unless you're hiding in your room. And by combining her powers with Daylight's, the pair can create wormholes to travel to other realities or timelines if necessary.
