Description I've been meaning to do this for ages, and I finally had a chance today.

1) Gary Larson: Gary's work has always inspired me, ever since I was young. His style is very appealing to me, and I love his sense of humor.

2) NASA/ Space Exploration/ Rockets: I really like futuristic spacey stuff. I have a story that is in the works that involves these things.

3) Nazis/ Inglourious Basterds/ Military Uniforms: I've always had the hots for Nazis. That's not really a surprise, is it? Inglourious Basterds completely blew me away when I saw it. To this day, I adore the movie. I must have watched it on DVD twenty times. I chose Hans Landa to represent my love for the movie because his character was just so delightfully evil. I ate up every minute of Waltz's performance. This picture can also represent my affinity for military uniforms. I simply find them visually appealing. The whole aesthetic is just so pleasing.

4) Atomic Bombs/ Nuclear Science: Atomic bombs have always fascinated me, and I've drawn many a detonation. My interest in nuclear weapons has led me to aspire to be a Nuclear Physicist, not because I want to blow the world up, but because when i started learning about how these sorts of things worked, I realized that it was my passion.

5) Cathedrals/ Religious Imagery: A few years ago when I travelled to Europe, I had the pleasure of seeing a Cathedral. Pictures do not do them justice. The interiors are so breathtaking, and there is so much to look at that you can spend an entire day inside one merely observing. I also have a strange obsession with religious imagery for reasons unknown to me.

6) Day of the Dead: I love Dia De Los Muertos. Sugar skulls look very neat all set up for sale, and I just want to bite one, haha. /Nom

7) Red Army Choir/ Soviet Union: The Red Army Choir has some of the most brilliant music I've ever heard. It's so powerful and instills so much emotion. The Soviet Union serves as a constant inspiration for one of my long-running stories.

8) David Bowie: Hnng. I just. Really, really like Bowie.

9) Gas Masks: I don't really know why I love them, but I know that I picked up the obsession from my dad. He worked as a NBC officer in the army during the late cold war, so that's where he found he was intrigued by them.

10) The Internet: The internet. It's a big, big place. I spend so much time observing online just to get creative ideas.

11) Hearses: They've always been really nifty to me, especially the ones from the 1950s with the wings on the back (sadly, I couldn't find a good reference picture). My dream car is a hearse.

12) Rosie the Riveter/ Norman Rockwell/ Wartime Propaganda: I love Rosie. I feel she and I are very similar- I've pushed myself to do 'a man's work' many times in my life and have gotten really generous recognition for what I've done. Norman Rockwell is also another one of my favorite artists because of the manner in which he very accurately depicts faces and expressions. Wartime propaganda is something I love because it can be very creative and both visually and emotionally impacting.

13) The Undead/ Vampires: The undead and other scary critters make interesting characters (in my eyes). Vampires are my favorite sort, whether they're sexy like Anne Rice's Lestat or disfigured and disturbing like Nosferatu. I like all interpretations.

14) Pin Up Girls/ Bettie Page: Pin up girls are beautiful to me, especially Ms. Bettie Page. Bettie just irradiates sexuality. I love love love sexy, curvy women.

15) Graveyards: They honestly creep me the fuck out, but historical graveyards are wonderful to explore during the daytime.

16) Airplanes: My favorite kind are the retro shiny ones (again, I couldn't find a good reference photo). I wanted to be a pilot in the air force until I was told I had astigmatism (damn it!).

17) Foreign Cultures: Traditional art and clothing of other cultures tends to have some wild color combinations, and i love to look at them. People from other nations also make killer awesome characters, hence why I have maybe three actual American characters and over eighty from other lands.
