Okay, so I went with my mom to her work today and had only my laptop, my tablet, and this meme all day. No internet, no references. *pats self on back*

Looking at everyone else's stuff, I feel a little weird for doing everything solid color... idk, it's kinda like oekaki I guess lol.

Thoughts on each piece:

1. Lady at the Beach. The colors screamed THIS IS A BEACH SETTING so I did it ahaha. That's all I really have to say. At first it was just gonna be the beach but it felt too plain without a chick in a bikini.

2. Guy Smoking. The brown and white colors reminded me of a coffee shop for some reason. They were nice and relaxed. I wanted to draw a dude smoking though because the blue made it feel like it wasn't already relaxed, it was trying to calm down.

3. Lady in Red. The red really stood out to me in the palette, I wanted to make it the focus for the picture. The chick's kinda got a busy, stuck up attitude ahaha. As for the background, I couldn't think of anything creative ;A;

4. Guy with Red Glasses. THESE COLORS ARE THE COLORS OF EITHER KAMINA FROM TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN OR DAVE STRIDER AND/OR BRO FROM HOMESTUCK. I made a mix of both. Woo. Also, I think I picked up 's cloud style XD They're cuuuute~

5. Lady within a Plaid Design. THIS ONE OMG. I loved doing this. The palette reminded me of like, Cowboy Bebop's opening and I wanted to do something kinda related to it. I was just making a plaid design to be in the background and then I thought, HOSHIT I SHOULD PUT HER INSIDE THE PATTERN. This one is definitely the best out of all of them.

6. Guy in Sewer. Or well. I had a hard time with this because the color scheme was strictly blue. I couldn't think of anything and actually went through and deleted a lot of other ideas for it, finally settling with this. He's climbing up bars that form a ladder-like thing on the walls of the well/sewer. It was also originally going towards the right but I flipped it because it looked better like this ahaha.

All in all, these are actually some of my best works, and I'm pretty proud of how they turned out!
