hi there again. i was wondering how you put the fabric on, to add smaller feathers to hide the tubing? I'm having trouble with it when it closes, plz helpΒ

Incredible work. For my first wings, I bought real weather it was sooo expensive ! Also, it was looking good but I wasn't satisfied, and actually your wings are looking much better than mine, and also were probably less expensive xD

What are the feathers made out of? They look light weight yet slightly transparent. Doesn't look like cardboard though?

These wings are absolutely marvelous! I see you have quite a lot of questions and I hate to pester you but I am in the process of making my own and I wondered if you knew an alternative material to use as feathers. It would help a ton! c: By the way, these are the best wings on the web!

On the www I have seen paper, felt, real, textile, wooden & even metal feathers, but i assume you already found those yourself

Not paper; the thinnest polyester liner- textile i could find. Multiple layers laminated with wall glue. The shaft is a drinking straw that fits over the bamboo plantsticks of the frame.

These are probably one of the most KICK ASS set of (life-sized) wings I've ever seen!! KUDOS!!!
I've seen other Deviants do fantastic work with various sizes & movement capabilities. Some Anime/Steampunk style; some Angel/Butterfly style; some move through attachment to the arms of the wearer; others standard shoulder harness sets.
In fact the, I don't even know yet, if your wings move or not. Regardless, it's a striking image of life-sized wings! Especially with such attention to the detail on the correct anatomical placement of each of the feathers; it's truly a MASTERPIECE!!

Polyester liner. Laminated together with the glue. That is what it makes it stiff
