Description
Hello everyone!Wanted to try and improve my mechanical sub-D skills, so decided to have a go at this concept (its actually the other way around, the concept attracted me so much that i just had to do it, and the sub-D thing was a great added bonus).
Heres a link to the deviantart profile page of the artist.

This concept is actually based around a "fighting club" where different people make different characters in fighting poses and stuff. Go check out the other concepts by the artist (Kai-S) and be amazed! Im actually going to be doing 2 more characters from the fight club concept
Ive asked for permission from kaiS but still have yet to be responded to. But im sure that wont be a big problem as ive heard that alot of people ask him and he says its totally cool (he's awesome
C and C welcome!!

Very cool. Hard edge modeling is something I have a crap ton of issues with. Love the concept also

Thank you so much!
I just started playing with zbrush hard surfaces; as i was very scared of it; but i absolutely love it to bits. So intuitive and interesting
yes the concept literally pushed me into making this guy.

Cool, cool. I'm trying to get back into hard surface sculpting. Picked up a book not too long ago(Zbrush Character Sculpting V1) and had some interesting tips.

Nice!
Ill look into it. but ive learned that trying things out on your own especially in zbursh is better than reading tutorials/books, unless theyre by really talented artists lol

I highly recommend it. And yeah, I cannot do that haha. I get so lost trying to figure things out on my own with Zbrush. I need guidance haha

Ill look into it!
Yeah that does happen with me alot of times aswell hah. Things can get kind of complicated in zbrush if you dont know what a brush for example does or how to do particular things. But losing yourself is fun at times

AH man, I'm the complete opposite. Losing myself makes me want to jump out of a window haha. But with the results I see that you're putting out, its working very well for you. I like your work, sir. Looking forward to seeing more of it.

Sweet! It reminds me of a model BoBo was doing for a while, a monkey astronaut.
It looks so much fun.

for a moment i thought that you were ben regimal; i was about to say 'about time you started working on that damn monkey again'.
Great start at sub-d modeling. I think you should use more floating geometry tho, it'll help the pinching and stretching from incorrect topology.

The knuckle sliding joint area is one such area that could be much better if you seperate and float the detail from the main hand geom.
