Ahem, here we have some Ryder VS J after a brief first meeting. J originally gives Ryder hella respect when he reveals that his (other) Father is Ace Ferrari - famous racer and friendly rival of both of J's parents. She intends to hold a similar rivalry with Ryder - and beat him of course. Only she soon discovers that Ryder is nothing like his famous father - he's more interested in guitar playing. In fact, he actively ignores her when she offers to race him. How dare he! J decides to make a rival out of him anyway - one way or the other.
