Aw, this is too cute, I really like the expression on James' face. Always wondered how these two got together though, considering what a massive prat James seemed to be at Hogwarts.

I KNOW! I just wished there had been some kind of explanation, other than one sentence from Lupin. But yes, we only get to see such a small glimpse of the Marauders and Lily themselves, and all in Snape's memory, so it might not be as accurate as we think. Maybe we missed the time where James saved a firstyear from the falling into the frozen lake at winter, or he found a lost puppy or saved a kitten or something.

I love them so much and they are so cute here! I am writing a story set in the Marauders' Era. James and Lily are not main characters, but they are in there and I will explore their relationship. A lot of people really (unfairly) hate on this couple. I think that the biggest omission is that they are underdeveloped. We only get to see glimpses of them in the books and it is all from Snape's p.o.v. I started writing my stories with some familiar scenes told from the p.o.v. of other characters, just because I always thought that there was always more there than what appeared in the pensieve.

the maurders one is a fanfic, its supposed to be only on Jily, but it talks about each one of the maurders, even characters that are reminded in HP like Hestia Jones and stuff^^ its a triology. the first one is called flowers and prongs
