Description
Since I convinced my hubby to watch the Avatar series with me, he became a real fan of Appa! Appa makes him laugh more often with a simple grunt than Sokka does with all his slapstick antics, and he finds him "cute".
So I painted Appa for him today. reference used: [link]
Done with pencil and Schmincke watercolours on boesner aquarelle 300 watercolour paper, background colour added in photoshop.

Thanks! ^-^ It was easier than I thought to add a blue background without losing the texture of the paper. Good to know, because I tend to always mess up a drawing completely when I try to make a watercolour background...
