I used to recolor Total Drama pictures and claimed it as mine but I stopped that and learned my lesson and I started drawing my own art but in another fandom so yeah I stopped that 2 months ago

I used to recolor Weegees when I was new to the Weegee community, but until now, I hate Weegee recolors in which I found itΒ cringe, a disgrace, poor quality, unoriginal and not my thing anymore when I was reviving the Weegee Fad. Plus, I don't make Semi-Recolor Mixed Images, Non-Recolor Mixed Images and Recolor Mixed Images anymore. From this day, I make Non-Recolors withoutΒ mixing it with other images from any source, plus my Non-Recolors got better eventually.

I used to recolour Sonic and EEnE images when I was ten. By the time I decided to actually draw my OCS, I just stopped recoloring. Now my opinion on recolours is that they are lazily planned out and poorly done. Also, it's against copyright rules (plagiarism to be specific). I like recolors when they're joke characters and trolls, but not when they're being serious.

To be honest...I'm not completely against recolors.
As long as the person moves on from that and learns from their mistakes, then it's fine. It's a part of the growing process after all. I know some fandoms make it 'easier' to make recolors, but think about it....it's just a bunch of kids who can't exactly draw anything themselves yet. Everyone goes through it at some point.
I used to do a TON of recolors, but thankfully I never posted them. They just stayed on my computer, and now I look back on my old works to remind me of how much I've changed. Sometimes I even base new characters on my old recolors, because I can actually draw them now. Plus, I know re-coloring is very childish and silly....even though I do it sometimes still, but it's just for fun to see what a character would look like with a different hair or clothes color(s). I never post them and say 'ERMAHGODITSANEWOCDONUTSTEALZ!'.

Erm, I have an OC who started out as a recolor of a canon character than she was changed to be a lot more original (e.g. having a different personality, being a cyborg since I didn't see that in the fandom XD)

Relay recolors are some of the worst oc's Β in existent. I find recolors ok when there joke oc's but not serous oc's. So i'm using
