And so spake Astro:
“These comics are not part of my Round Three entry. These are simply side stories I've tapped fellow artists to co-create. I've developed stories to further *TheColosseum 's plot, so that there's more to follow than just the matches. I want to go beyond the tournament and show more, to showcase more of the characters who've appeared in Colosseum, and because I'd really like to see more of them
Also, these are comics that are going to weave together, like small pictures adding up to a bigger picture. And believe me... it's going to be a really BIG picture."

”This was a lot of fun. Getting to play around with Sabine and Wendigo again was a big treat, especially with Astro’s wicked writing behind them.
This had to get uploaded a bit early due to vacation, but keep your eyes peeled for some other exciting yarns to pop up from other deviously talented deviants.
LIZARD MAN. Seriously. Loved how Astro tied in a bit from my *TheColosseum audition. Warranted a ‘DUDE’ upon reading.

wow, I wish I'd seen this sooner.
First off, your your comics are insanely good, the the colours and the style of your drawing work great together. Also where did you get the ideas for your subject matter? It's interesting to see fictional characters coming to terms with their own existence and its good to see a really solid story as opposed to pure action, which seems to be overly common in octs. Are you going to continue with these comics i really want to know what happens next.

Maybe I should read the main story, that was pretty good.
Reminded me a bit of The Getbackers, partway through the series (similar not in art, obviously, but that they have the problem knowing if they exist and seem to be made to fight by some higher power).
man, i wish they finished that series, kinda. it wasnt great, but it was fun enough that i would have watched it till the end. oh well.
anyways, fantastic art (as per usual) with this little small series. it was a fun read

I think I just died... that was SO cool! DX *cuddles Wendigo* he went from looking like an evil kitty cat to a crazy dragon dude and then to an "aw poor puddytat-monster" fest DX (or puddytat-runnybabbit-monster fest in the case of my version O_o)

Wow, when you and Astro combine forces the result is mind-blowingly awesome!
This adds a very interesting new element to these characters. I love Bop’s nonchalant prophet-of-doom role.
And is that a hint of care for Sabine I see on the Wendigo’s part? I can see how she would care about him, since he is kind of cute and cuddly in a creepy sort of way, but his reaction to seeing her hurt was surprising. Hope he’ll be all right. I didn’t think it was possible for anything to faze him, but boy did that ever.
Very excited to see where this is going!
