It's, uh, yeah.
It's WTF Friday.
This is... uh...
This is the first time I've ever been truly ashamed of drawing something. Like, not 'this picture is of poor quality' ashamed, but deep, soul-scarring shame. I-can-never-scrub-hard-enough-to-clean-away-the-dirt shame.
Anyway, this stems from something that really, really disturbed me as a kid; anthro animals owning pet animals. When I was a young girl, I owned this book... a little Minnie Mouse picture book, about her and her friend's new puppy. The thing that really, REALLY freaked me out was the fact that her friend was a dog. It was a dog owning a dog.
I just couldn't get my head around it... it was so unnerving. Was the pet dog a slave? Was it considered a lesser being for some reason, and subjected to such treatment? Was it a dog of lower iq, and therefore destined to be the plaything of some sociopathic child?????? What sort of dystopian future was this??!!???
Yeah, I dwelled on this a bit too much for a six-year-old... or maybe not enough. Don't give me that 'they're just the unevolved versions of the anthro animals, like monkeys and humans' excuse. No, there's something far more sick at play here... far, far more disturbed.

To anyone lamenting of their disgraced childhoods, was it ever ruined? This is the Internet, we all see these things coming, our sick, demented minds already beat the web to defacing our childhood.
That aside, I just gave in to the suspension of disbelief, anthropomorphic animals do that to you.

I always wondered similar thoughts as a kid XD Like how Pete (the CAT) once mentioned that he "had a little cat once" Also, totes couldn't read Goofy's and Mickey's lines in anything other than their real voices so this ended up being hilarious XD
Somehow Pluto's face comes off as both creepy and cute.

I never thought of this anthros owning pet thing until now, this is bringing up all sorts of freaky stuff.

I love how you drew Pluto. XD As a kid, I questioned why a mouse owned a dog when his friend is also a dog. But like a majority of the audience, I sort of accepted it without question.

I've never thought of it this way before... but now that I have seen your picture I'll never be able to think of it any other way (or get this image from my mind @___@ haha...... uhg). Goofy Movie was da bomb. My dad still walks around the house to this day saying "let's watch the OOFY movie!" (making fun of my childhood pronunciation of goofy...).
