For some reason I like to draw them sad. And I never expected to actually finish this.Mostly done by mouse.

Keep up the good work and as always Ill be patient to expect the next one. I am one fan of apple jack and i must say you did justice to her. Her expression is what i like most, yes she is sad but you can tell she is quite disappointed in not obtaining what she needed for the apple family. so much was on her shoulders.

I still don't understand how you manage to make the lineart look like that with the Path tool. You need to show me the tutorial you found. xD

I didn't find that in any tutorial. It's just a case of trial and error. And it's quite simple, and the only reason why I still use GIMP, for that matter. Just use the Ink Tool. I tend to keep the default settings 'cept for the size (experiment at your leisure). Then go ahead and use the Path Tool. Stroke the path, check the little "Stroke with a paint tool" box, select the Ink Tool and check the "Emulate brush dynamics" box. That's all there is to it.

Never mind. I figured out what I've been doing wrong. I used to give the pen tool different angles for cool effects. XD
