... for those, who can't read the German text in the bubble: "... Friendship for the Allosaurus, who touched my heart."The actual picture here is devoted to a friend of mine I got to know last year. We both had once the hope find love in each other, but in the end there were some differences in core aspects, that couldn't be resolved by making compromises. For short, a romantic relationship wouldn't have the foundation, that would have been needed to meet the needs of us both.
In the depicted scene I give him a gift to show him I'm wanting to stay in contact with him as a friend, although the recent happenings caused some sort of depression in me, because I have never had someone to love and therefore don't know how it is to be in a romantic relationship.
So, this is a gift among friends.
Maybe, in the Jurassic it would have had a more happier ending for us, I suppose.

Thank you for liking my picture. The black Allosaurus is the character of my friend, who created it, although he doesn't have a decent reference sheet.
Aww, that's nice of you. Well, I still miss him and it will take a while until I got over, that he won't requite my affection. But I know and accept, that we have two different views about certain subjects. Therefore, it's not possible to build a romantic relationship on these differences, because there is no room for compromises.

The lineart on this looks fantastic, as well as the shading. The details on both of them look great, as well. 
The abstract background makes me think of a sunset, with the colors you used.
I also did a new lineart drawing- would you mind telling me what you think of it? I think I'm getting better at lineart, but maybe it's just me...I'll admit, it was a fairly quickly done lineart (about an hour), but I still think the result shows improvement. Hopefully.

I thank you for the praise and it is really a honor for me, that it inspired you for making a Chibi version of Nova, what makes me totally grateful. Luckily, the process of scaling the image down helped to eliminate less clean drawn areas.
Could be some late sunset or it is some kind of fire and the Allosaurus are enjoying the warmth.
Your improvement is clearly visible to me and I tried to describe my impression on the piece you submitted. As it seems, you was within the artistic flow to create the lineart quickly. Sometimes, I encounter days I lack being in this magical flow and then I need several attempts, but when in this flow, then everything runs smoothly.
