Because of it is a representation of what I feel I can't simply not be serious. Well, as an artist I try to improve, getting closer to the stage how the things I create in mind should look.

Yes, that's me walking through a dried up river bed or something similar on Isla Sorna. Well, nothing special, I'm just the typical female Allosaurus next door.

I reused most parts of the already painted ground from the LtL Field Guide illustration and tried to camouflage the shadows of the male and juvenile. I wanted to have a dry and sandy ground with some cracks.

I wasn't that good at the beginning, when I started to do digital art and I hadn't a real subject in my art. So, the first pieces looked ugly in comparison to my recent work. I try as often as possible to do some sketches to keep in mind how to draw a dinosaur, while some artists have schedules to organize their day and to practice certain things. Personally, I think that's a good idea, but I haven't been able to make such a plan for me.

Yeah...I should probably practice more, but lately, I've gone through a lot of hardship and therefore I find it more difficult to concentrate on art when I'm not in the best of moods. I don't think my skill has fallen any, but I probably should practice digital art more, since it was never my best thing...

When I got my tablet and tried to draw and to paint with it, doing art felt like that I'm unable to create something artistic like I do with my traditional tools. So it took me a while to find out how to use it and finding the right settings for it in Gimp. Don't rush yourself with drawing practices, I don't want to force you into a certain way of doing art.

At the moment I don't feel like doing art, although I know I should continue on my models for PK, but some things happened recently, which affected me in a bad way. I even refuse to eat in a regular way because of that.

Just changed the hue of maroon / reddish part a bit and her stripes. After applying all the changes I felt something like "yeah, that's me" in terms of the LtL field guide description.
