Description
With you at my side,I feel strong and beloved.
You hold me close to your heart,
let me feel being a part
of you.
Together, we stride
a path along,
nothing can be wrong,
'cause you're at my side.
– written by me, 2014
I took the time to setup a scene with my two Allosaurus models, I made in Blender. The brown Allosaurus was modeled last year, while the gray one is from the current year.
The landscape is a roughly sculpted plain with the advantage of Blender's dynamic topology, which allowed me to create quickly some hills and a river bed, that is in this shot off scene, because the water material, I created, didn't actually look like water. Afterward I added stones and a bunch of ferns. For the ground's texture I used an image from openfootage.net
Additionally, I didn't use a texture for the sky, because Blender is able to create a so-called “procedural sky texture” without clouds.

They look great!
I remember when you were still sculpting the grey one. It turned out very nicely!

Thank you much for your fav-a-thon through my gallery and the comments.
Some time has passed since that time of creating the base model and the later sculpt. When I had finished this Allosaur, I came up with the idea to put both Allosaurus in one scene to present, how much my modelling skills had developed and I simply was delighted by the thought that my brown and stripy personal Allosaurus has a companion she loves to spend her time with.

XD You have so much lovely art, it was a pleasure.
That's really awesome. It takes a lot of time and effort to come up with a detailed model like that.

Thanks again
Well, modelling my very first Allosaurus (the one with the brown stripes and the yellowish body) took me several weeks, because it was my first attempt of making a decent model. Yeah, I did some other attempts long before making even a concept of this Allosaurus, but they usually ended in unfinished projects, because I lost my overview or just lacked enough knowledge to avoid the pitfalls.
But nowadays I have established a workflow to create all these dinosaur species I made and I also try to train my skills.

I always imagined with theropods like T. rex they showed love toward each other, like how stumpy comforted tinker belle in Dinosaur. Revolution, that's just my opinion tho, I also think allos and t Rexes typically mated for life, only finding new mates if their mate was killed or chased away by a rival

I think love is something universal and why should only humans be able to show love and affection?
Also animals are capable to experience and express emotions, but in a different way than Homo sapiens and I think some dinosaurs did that in the depicted way.
I too like the idea that T. rex and Allosaurus stayed together with their mates, because not every animal prefers to live alone. (Well, I have some sort of a romantic vein...)

So, we have with Allosaurus a friend in common
I would love if I could be one and then, maybe, be together with another Allosaur, even just for hunting.
Thank you much for giving me the watch and the fave. Allosaurus is my inspiration

Me being a HUGE Allosaurus Fan all I can say is, wow...just wow! THIS LOOKS AWESOME!
I'm assuming the Big Al skinned Allo is a Male and the Yellow Allo is the female?

Wow, it's overwhelming to have another Allosaurus enthusiast around and I'm also very glad to read you like my scene, I created in Blender.
The Big Al like Allosaurus is a male, whereas the yellow-brownish one is the imagination of myself as an Allosaurus female. It's like I had just changed my form - not my gender - into my beloved Dino.
It would have been interesting of course, if I had met Big Al somewhere in the Jurassic.

I modeled the Allosaurs, the landscape and the stones. The color textures on the Allosaurs are drawn by me in Gimp, whereas the texture for the rocks are photos, I took previously. Also the bunch of ferns is just a collection of photographed ferns.

Love this one and it´s so cute to look at, seeing them two lay next to each other and enjoy the company.
How relation should be like and be able to trust the other, cant say I have had that experience rather the opposite xD
Thats a good poem and very true, when you have someone who loves one back and is always there as support and help when needed and can have fun with then nothing is impossible Almost the same as with a good close friend.
Amazing creation and well done

This is the same reason, why I like to look at my Allosaurs. I can imagine a whole story of love and respect unfolding around those two.
I can't tell you how a relationship should be or how it works, because neither I've been in one nor someone has fallen in love with me. But, I've accepted this and give my love to Allosaurus, which had helped me.
Thank you there, I wasn't sure with my written poem, because English isn't my native language, so I'm happy I can communicate with this language well enough. Probably, it may be nice, if someone requites the given love - I only know the opposite case. I had the impression, there had to be some lines, wrapping around this image. And I was also inspired by a team member arthuria99 , who interprets parts of poems with his images and afterward put the part of the particular poem under his deviations.

Glad to hear that has given you strength and come to where you are today.
I have a bit more experience on it but I would say it is mostly bad experience hence prefer living single and since then done much things in my life.
But I can say a working relationship is like I and you say there, the hard part is finding the person which respects you and not use you and understands you and that is one in a million xD
Well your english is perfectly fine and nor is English my native language, actually that is Swedish. Can understand it well and the main thing is: That you can communicate and understand each other.
Hopefully that wasnt your last poem or creation in this style.

I'm happy, that I've my friends in real and in the virtual world and last, but not least: my dinos
Thank you, that you think my English is fine so far I had french in school too, but I've never learnt it in a way, that it would be enough for communication. (Yeah, and I merely forgot its vocabulary...)
I don't suppose, this was my last poem, because I've ideas from time to time for few lines.

Wow and thank you much for your comment, fave and watch.
I felt an inner urge for setting up such a lovely scene, so probably a part of my soul was demanding to see two Allosaurus closely huddled together. Before I modeled the landscape and added my two 3d models I had an exact idea how they should be posed and afterward rendered.
I know, I had to reply, but unfortunately I procrastinated to write an appropriate answer, because I didn't want to write just a simple sentence. Additionally, I'm involved in a game development team and was preoccupied with the work on my Allosaurus model and painting textures for another dinosaur model. Currently, I try to "teach" my Allosaurus how to walk. If you like to see my animations - be warned I'm a bloody beginner in creating animations - have a look at my journal entries. The recent animation is this: fav.me/d7coc9f
You're like... one in a billion. One of the very few people i can chat with... since you understand what I'm saying...Oh... That is... so beautiful and overwhelming, that I almost can't describe the fact, how much important and touching this is in my humble knowledge of English. It's really great to hear that from you.

Awww...this is very cute, sweet, and touching. Also, on the day you submitted this (March 21st), my boyfriend and I were together in person. I've had to deal with the sadness of him being away from me again, now, and it isn't easy...but I'll get through it...and he has promised me that once he finishes college we will live together, in two years.

Oh, great thank you for you. Although I finished the scene on March 19th, I felt an urge to write down some poetic lines in English, people are able to understand. Something, that accompanies the picture and express the emotions.
That's a really fantastic coincidence that you were together and were able to spent those precious moments. I'm happy for you, even those times are already gone, but I wish your dreams of a future together with him come true. (Pressing all the thumbs I have.) I hope that you, too, can find someone who you can be happy with together.

Oh, that would be great. Sometimes, I feel the need to write down few poetic lines, even in English despite of being not my native language. (German would surly work better, but others probably wouldn't understand it.)
In my case I had initially the image in my mind and then, after it was rendered, those lines popped up in my mind. I felt some urge to put them into the description of this deviation.
