Description
Time - something we all strive to control and shape. Travel is only one way....or is it?So this idea had been sitting on the shelf for the better part of a year. I would see it every day, sitting on the bedroom floor gathering dust waiting for the time when I would do the shot. Speaking of time. Time, as you see, is not flowing in the right direction. How did I do it? Well you build the set so that you can appear to defy gravity
The title is a combination from two suggestions. Emit is from my husband's suggestion. Emit is Time backwards. 'Time is for the Mad' is from Cory B. in the You Name It Challenge at DPC
Other little details in the shot: the heading on the paper states: Principles of Time Travel. Also, sharp eyes might notice that silver object by the calligraphy pen is a Tardis key.

If You wanted candle You could try multiple exposure. First shot all desired scene upside down with candle but no candle light, second candlelight in normal position. But I know it would be dificult to place it properly - if You want to do it without computer manipulations.
By the way, I really like it.
