She has a autoimmune disease resulting in acute and bad atritus.
Normally her medicine makes her life still enjoyable but on this photo she was far from ok.
Happy the last weeks she had some great days and then we can made some nice walks and enjoy the outdoors

Aww poor baby. I know how that feels. I have a autoimmune disease also. I am pretty sure you know this already but make sure she has no wheat in her food and treats. Wheat causes the joints to swell. She might be in pain but I bet you she's happy to be with you

Thank you very much Alana and indeed a great tip but I already gave her from the first day she was with me fresh mead and BARF (bones and raw food).
But I agree lots of problems today are from the wrong foods for dogs.
Because we are fighting her disease we try things with alternative medicine for example and the down site is that when things dont work out she gets a attack from her immune system.
After several tries we stopped  and now she gets a stable quantity of prednisone. With that she is without pain but of course there are side effects. More then a year ago I was sure she was going to die .. in 22 days she will be 9 years and every day is a joy for her ..

long story but truly thanks for the tip/ compassion appreciate it a lot!

I'm so happy that you love your dog so much and take good care of her! She's a fighter! Aww happy early birthday to her! I have a GSD when he was a pup we found out he was allergic to wheat so we changed all the dogs food he's better now and going on 3 and my old dog is 12 and very hyper and active.

  Althoughit is very rare that she looks that sad. She can handle her sickness most of the the time better then me I think!

Dank je wel! Ze is helaas ook echt ziek van het ziek zijn en dat zie je af en toe
Gelukkig heeft ze ook nog steeds hele mooie momenten en wil ze nog steeds leven
