Description
It was over. I could no longer hear the cacophony of sound outside my cockpit.
The battle was over.
but my ship had been ripped apart. pieces of it's debris floated into my view like buoys in an ocean of ink before the floated away and out of sight. An alarm was silently screaming to no-body from some-where deep in the bowels of my vessels. But no emergancy help came. None would be fast enough. I didn't even try and do damage control. My own condition echoed that of this ship that was now both keeping me alive while condeming me to death. I had been damaged, deeply and seriously, my own personal biological and pak alarms ringing in my ears and joining that of the ships in a macabre melody.
The tiny white river that was started to appear on my cockpit glass was starting to snake its way across its surface. Tiny fingers extended from it to persue their own directions and desires.
A dark shape loomed into view. A giant ship was approaching...no...a Massive ship...the massive ship...
A rescue...
they'd come for me....but the threads on the glass were moving faster now, with more purpose.
But that didn't matter now.
Nor did the dark looming shape of my would-be rescuers.
Nor did the thinning air I breathed
Nor did the darkening of my vision.

Why am I always so mean to poor pur?? why??! :'(
This happened a while back. Pur had been leading a squadron to investigate claims of a rebelion happening on a nearby planet. He had gone alone because the source of this information was less than trust-worthy and Red didn't want to encourage unntruthful information by showing interest. Pur disagreed and, after an arguement, set off by himself and a small squadron of ships.
Unfortunatly the rumour turned out to be true and the tiny party was ambushed.
Luckily Red, having noticed Pur's absences and quickly putting two and two together came with the rest of the Armada and the battle was won.
Unfortunatly Pur's ship had been attacked and The Massive had to launch a rescue team quickly to aid the dying Emporer.

Don't worry. The rescue team reach the ship just as the damaged Cock-pit gives way and they're able to grab Purple before he's lost to space.
And Yes, Pur makes a full recovery as well. ^^

I'm rather proud of this, even if I'm not a 100% sure about the cracking glass. The crack in his Pak came out better looking I think. I'm also not too sure about the reflected stars. I think they look a little like random dots...oh well...
However I am happy, I got to draw Pur in his sexy Pilot's uniform. Hurray for skin-tight Irken clothes!
And once again, that blood was drawn by hand
