This page took far too long and I stayed up far too late to finish it
I'm gonna regret it in the morning.Splinter goes out to look for Raphie. Besides Sewer Crocs and 30 foot drops into raging whirlpools he's also got to worry about flash floods, Sewer Rapids, Sewer rats (ironic but true), Subway cars if he manages to get into the subway tunnels and let's not forget, people who might be doing maintenance in the sewer. That's not even counting things like broken glass, twisted metal, caved in tunnels, tunnels leading out to sea.... the list is endless.....
...so you can see why Splinter's kinda freaking out XDD
Splinter is still more comfortable using all fours instead of his hind legs... besides four legs are faster, but he's shifting back and forth between them at this stage.

In this comic I wanted to do only what I would be able to do with ink on paper, so I didn't use any gradients or played with opacities.
The water gave me lots of trouble because at first I overdid how much black I used in it and it over-powered the picture. I worked very hard on this page because it was the first time I really started using the black and was experimenting with how much of it I should put on the page.

First let me say well done. Secondly, I'm not a professional but here's a small opinion. In panel four when he's standing near the edge, I would have put him on all fours, front paws grasping the edges for a more "looking out" feel. Also in panel three I love the movement but something looks a little off. Maybe if you lower the tail into view, that might help. These are just suggestions and in no way should you take them to heart. That's it, everything else was solid. Over all I love this series and I hope you found this helpful.

You don't have to be a professional 
I like the idea of Splinter on his knees in the second last and last panel actually, I never considered putting him in that pose
"Camera" angles and it could've been a better way to show what I was going for.
And as for Panel 3, do you mean the panel where he's looking through the bars? or Panel 2 with the crocs?

Oh! Ok I get what you mean, sorry for my misinterpitation lol.
As for the panel I referring too, it is the one with the crocs. Where he's running. I like the shadow and I perspective but I wonder how it would change if you lowered his tail into the picture more? That's all I'm referencing. Thank for for your gracious response. And I have no doubt I'll enjoy the rest.

*Nods* his tail is a little cut offish in that panel I agree, I'm not going to redraw it since I'm lazy XD but I will keep that in mind for next time. When I drew the panel I actually drew the complete tail in the space I knew would be hidden by the border so it looked alright till I actually hid it. my bad
and don't worry about the misinterpretation if it wasn't completely clear then I should've found a way to communicate it better anyway

Oh god I know what you mean, redraw it all? no, it's totally fine. In my silly little comic I tried to draw Leonardo sitting indian style on the ground. Which was a dismale failure. After prefight-donut sent me a reference pic I was wayyyyy to lazy to re draw everything. Borders drive me bonkers. LOL

You really convey the urgecy in Splinters face as he is seaching for the errant little one. And his mind is playing tricks on him like alligators. And his horror at finding the storm drain as well. The look of terror on his face there is enough to give anyone a cold shiver

XDD according to the TMNT universe there really are alligators and crocs in the sewers. According to the comics once they got older the turtles killed most of them and drove the rest out. but anyway;

Oh So thats why. I thought it was based on real life. Well at least they did a service to the city. Shame they won't be rewarded for it though. I did feel the encroucment of fear as Splinter was seraching for Raph.

hmmm.... just a little suggestion: in the future, when the layout is similar or something, maybe change the size of the last four pannels. this'll add a sense of urgency and time. :3

I hate to use FF as cannon, but in the first episode he did move rat-like very comfortably so I don't see why he wouldn't now.
