Yayyy it's PIT! 8DD
Pit's one of my favourite Characters to Brawl with. I tried playing "Kid Icarus" but I suck at NES games.. and Kid Icarus is one of the harder ones XD;; so I couldn't even beat the first stage.
Hopefully if the rumours about the new Wii game are true it won't be as hard and I'll be able to play it 83
I feel very bad for Pit XDDDD see, most of the concept art for the possible new game depict him as THIS [link] [link] [link]
but because every-one and their grandmother on dA are Yaoi crazed fangirls almost EVERY-ONE here draws him like THIS [link] [link] [link]
and there's nothing WRONG with that but.. SHIT guys! He's a BOY!! not a cupcake with "Rape me" written in Icing sugar on it!! Give him SOME masculinity please! Uke is fun, I know, I have an Uke character myself, but too much fan abuse KILLS INTEREST.
So this is my rebuttal. and yes I know not ALL Kid Icarus Fanart out there shows him as a gender confused yaoi magnet but you have to admit.. a LOT of it does. Damn you Brawl. Damn you to hell.

Nice, I like how you've made him look both manly and graceful but not gone overboard with either. I like his expression and his hair but I think the position of his legs looks a bit odd.
Oh, and I totally agree with you about Pit being a boy, not a cupcake! I like bishonen characters but if you take it too far, it just becomes disturbing.

The first two new concepts for pit are good, but yours is better! He needs to have the young boyish charm but at the same time he doesn't need to be so girly. You pic is definitely how Pit should look.

And i really hate the whole IkexPit thing thats spreading like yaoi butter over Uke bread.
I don't mind Pit's design in brawl. He's still a kid, so he can't look too manly 
Kid Icarus is fun, but incredibly hard. And i agree with you about the best 8-bit soundtrack ever. It's so catchy.
I like this picture. It seems like a mixture of Brawl, those concept arts and your own style. and i know i did say i hated those concept arts, but yours is nice :3

They might very well be fake. I mean, for a company to have leaked a possible project leaked is a very VERY bad thing for said company. I dunno if the game business is like the Animation Business but I suspect it is, and so "works in progress" are kept almost a military secret. so yeah, not very likely that these concept arts are true (But hopefully Nintendo will notice the Stir it's created)
As for the concept arts themselves, i REALLY like the outfits ... But it is too manly for me in them XDD hence why I kinda toned down the testosterone (haha I'm such a Hypocrit)
S for blaming Brawl, it's not so much I'm blaming Brawl for making him Uke as it is I'm blamng Brawl for introducing a young budding Yaoi community to Pit and Ike. then again I like Pit in Brawl... XDD yeah yeah so it's not SSBB it's the fans.. but really blaming a fanbase for being stupid is like blaming the ocean for being wet.

the only thing of a project that gets leaked its the fact that they're working on project. I don't think i ever saw concept art showing up before the game was actually being made.
