It's Darkwing Duck Drake Mallard!
There's a lot of DW pictures on dA but not a lot of Drake. Which is a pity because I love when he gets all bad-ass "Darkwing" mode when he's wearing his pink shirt and green sweatervest... OF STYLE.
Drake is bad-ass and he will beat the crap out of you.
This picture shows a lot of the flaws in my drawing of Disney Ducks. It's better than what it was in the face, but I obviously still need to practice a LOT when it comes to bodies and posing. It may not look terrible, but it was way harder than it should've been to draw and the results do NOT reflect how much time was spent on the drawing part. It's not organic enough for my taste. The stiffness is evidence of my struggle with it. So I need to practice a lot more obviously XD
There's a cool confrontation between Drake and Negaduck in the comic. Sadly no fight scene is shown but it's fun to see Drake in the line of fire without the Darkwing Duck outfit on.
I'm talking too much.

Something funny about the show is his secret identity completely contrasts with his superhero self : his wrinkles, his sweater, his pink shirt, he looks like a normal middle age dad and yet, as your great pic shows, has an epic side.

I always wondered if the sweater vest is his usual fashion style, or if he just thinks it's the 'fatherly' thing to wear, like his daddy uniform vs his work uniform
I think the pose looks great, it's something he would do, very theatric, and the shadow behind him is a great touch ^^

This is fantastic. I really love the imaging and the pulling the two halves of him together like this. If you notice in the first episode, he lives as Darkwing, and he doesn't become Drake until a home life is required of him. To Mr. Mallard, Darkwing is the true ego and Drake is the alter ego. Even in his pink shirt and green sweater vest, he thinks like a caped crusader. I tihnk this illustrates than mindset fantastically.

The concept behind this is great!Β I have to agree, there is something totally bad-ass about Drake wearing the shirt and vest instead of the turtleneck and double-breasted coat and hat.Β Maybe it's just more easy to relate to.Β Either way, great work!Β It really does show the mallard behind the mask is just an average Joe getting dangerous to fight off evil.

The shadow depicting Darkwing is a great touch! I thought that the background looked similar to the nes game, but I didn't know if it was intentional until I read the description. The colouring is really good too. I love it!

Great rendition of Darkwing Duck! You're too hard on yourself. The posing looks almost perfect and the silhouette is just badass. Also, I agree there are not enough pictures of Drake, who is best character ever. Please draw more of him? Heh.
