Game: Ratchet and Clank 3: Up your Arsenal (PS2)
Scene: Secret Agent Clank and his Chauffeur
This is one of my favourite pictures of the PS2 games I drew
Clank's overshadowing of Ratchet s actually a big part of the third game... surprisingly (and very un-cliche I might add) Even though it obviously bugs Ratchet, there's never a real argument between them regarding this. I actually really appreciated that. That these characters could be mature about stuff that, really, at the end of the day is rather inane....unless I'm remembering wrong in which case I've made a fool of myself XD;; but I don't remember it happening.

no they never had an argument about that in game, I honestly hated that everyone thought clank was the same as his holo vid character when in realioty or at least the games' reality Ratchet does all the work

Ratchet wanted to be a Film Star, but this wasn't how he planned it.
Never really saw him as a camera shy person, just that he didn't like his role as Clank's Chauffeur. Apart from one moment in the original Ratchet and Clank and Gadgetron, he seems cool with being on camera.

I love that Ratchet for all his self confidence, is camera shy. Β It's quite endearing of him as a character. Β

I know! X3 It's a very interesting quirk that stays with him pretty much throughout the entire series. Even in All 4 One I think the TV interview they do is considered "rare" since they apparently keep to themselves. It also is a nice change that Clank, the "nerdy" one is the one that enjoys attention whereas Ratchet is more private despite being goofier.
