I talked about this with Pimpy... and then MaryMuse saw my comment and said I should draw it... ...
.....GO BLAME THEM!!I have.. ..I have absolutely no idea where this even came from. I just read Stan Sakai's blog regarding the award and this insanity happened...
Just to be clear: Usagi from 'Usagi Yojimbo' and Usagi from 'Space Usagi' are not the same person. Space Usagi is kind of both a descendent as well as a reincarnation of the the original Usagi. I'm not too sure of the details but then I'm betting no-one is.
Whatever they are though, it's a pretty sure thing that if they ever had any kind of interaction with each other the universe would divide by 0 and implode.
And before any-one tries to use SAINW as an argument as to how that doesn't work in the fandom I'd like to point out Donny never interacts with himself in that episode

Anyway... enjoy this lapse in sanity. I've been frustrated with my art lately so I did this to kinda destress.
I spent far more time on it than I meant to. Especially on the explosion there (which I made btw. it's not a stock image)

Coyotes are basically almost always harmless to humans. They'll avoid human contact if possible. Of course 20 in a pack, in the woods at night, could certainly become dangerous, but in general they'll stay away from people.
Still... at midnight, alone in a room, chatting or writing or whatever, and hearing those eerie yips and howls outside... it's enough to make sleeping a little difficult.

Well the coyotes SOUND as if they're directly outside the window, which makes hearing them eerie, but actually they're a good mile off, roaming the neighbor's woods. Their voices just have a very odd carrying quality to them, and 10 dogs can sound like 30 on a clear night. They're creepy more than anything. I've grown up in this area, and have only ever seen one once during the daytime. They're very very shy, as I said. I'm much more afraid of my neighbor's dog than the coyotes.

XDD No no, Space usagi is also black and white (which is why Normal Usagi is like "what does this have to do with you?" ) Yokai is just normal Usagi, but it's all ghost stories and the whole book is in colour
