In which neither of them actually know how to cook and if it wasn’t for Grillby they’d probably have starved years ago.
Also in which Papyrus remains one of only 2 people in the world able to make Sans laugh. Not that he’s aware of this.
Have you ever bitten into a cherry tomato? It’s a nightmare.
I’m really sorry I couldn’t update last weekend, guys. Things got away from me. Updates should proceed as normal from here on.
I really struggled very hard with this page. But I got it done so that's the hard part over with (starting this up again I mean)
Sorry we've only got one page this week. I'm working on another oneshot comic for a contest so I'm splitting my time at the moment. It won't be forever.

Aw... that's a cool page, two of them just interacting with each other like any other day. And the first panel is awesome! The blackness in there makes you remember they're all trapped in the Underground. Nice one!

And thanks! I love everyday interactions and slice of life type stuff, but I also like it when things like that are woven into a bigger plot. I was worried people would be impatient and just want to get to the meaty stuff, but I'm really happy others are enjoying this too.
Although I will say, none of the everyday stuff I draw in this story is without its purpose.

I gotta question though. It's probably one you've heard before, but...
Why did you choose to make Papyrus' magic yellow?
I usually see Papyrus with orange or blue magic. Those make sense because Papyrus is brave and true, but I've never seen anyone else do yellow. I'm interested in hearing your reasons.

I have answered this a few times so I hope you don't mind if I copy/paste some of my explanations ;w;
"Honestly? I didn't know the whole colour thing with the souls u.u and I wasn't sure if it was even canon or just something the fans came up with. And even then when someone explained it to me I would've never found that out in the game itself!
For papyrus, I know people like using orange for him as a complimentary to blue, which makes sense, but orange just.... doesn't feel right for Papyrus for me. I much prefer the brighter, sunnier yellow. The orange to Sans' blue feels a little too "dull" for lack of a better expression.
But more than that I do have another reason. I actually based their colours on their magic colours. Sans' is obvious, being the bright cyan, but Papyrus' magic colour I didn't just pluck out of the ehter X'D I saw a screencap once of a VERY specific run you can do of the game, where you talk to papyrus after fighting him and he talks about his blasters, referring tp them as his "special attack" and that the human would've stood absolutely no chance if he'd used his "special attack" (this being after the fight and him using his blue attack which he also refers to as a special attack, so he's clearly talking about something different). He then becomes uncomfortable and quickly changes the subject.
And when he mentions his "special attack" the text is bright yellow."

The color thing with the souls... i don't even remember where in the game that comes up. haha
yeah i was just thinking that yellow means justice and that doesn't seem to fit papyrus very much. he's to nice and merciful to be justice. but it's not super important for your comic to have colors that mean the same things or whatever. it was just interesting and i was wondering your reasoning behind it. thanks!
