In which neither of them actually know how to cook and if it wasn’t for Grillby they’d probably have starved years ago.
Also in which Papyrus remains one of only 2 people in the world able to make Sans laugh. Not that he’s aware of this.
Have you ever bitten into a cherry tomato? It’s a nightmare.
I’m really sorry I couldn’t update last weekend, guys. Things got away from me. Updates should proceed as normal from here on.
I really struggled very hard with this page. But I got it done so that's the hard part over with (starting this up again I mean)
Sorry we've only got one page this week. I'm working on another oneshot comic for a contest so I'm splitting my time at the moment. It won't be forever.

It's gonna be a while before the feels get turned up high, but we've got some nice "oh no!"-ness lined up in the next few pages.
(or maybe I just classify feels differently. Because I know where the feels hit REALLY hard X'D so in comparison it may seem not as much feels to me. I'll have to see what people say.)

so they magic up food? how dose that work, im honestly curious on this

They can't grow normal food underground with no sunlight, and they don't have animals they can farm. So a lot of food is reliant on being created by magic. (which is why the monster in Grillby's in the game says monster food is very different to human food).
The rest is just my headcanon.
My headcanon is only some monsters are good at making food because it's really difficult. Some monsters are better at creating different kinds of food than others. And they still need to cook ingredients together. They can't just make fully cooked food from nothing. That's too hard.
Also, monsters who have healing magic are better at creating food than monsters who don't use healing magic. Papyrus doesn't have healing magic in this comic though. But he's also not a very good cook X'D Toriel knows healing magic, so she's a good cook. 9although she does hunt snails and eats them? I guess some ingredients they collect like normal)
I think even the plants in the underground have magic in them. Which is why they can grow there.

true. But he was mostly saying that monster food just absorbs into you, rather than slime down all your innereds and stay in places till you push it out.
But I see where you get the idea. However eating is for gaining energy, it would take energy to materialize food. So unless he is sapping energy from somewhere else, he is not doing himself any favors.

Yep, I totally agree. I'm pretty sure that the slapstick comedy Papryus brings to the table can pretty much catch anyone off guard.
