I have now officially been working on this picture for 13 hours.. ..non-stop.... it is now 2:47 am ..yeah...

ANYWAY!
Every-one whose done fanart for ~AmeMusashi 's epic of a fanfic "The Fallen" seems tonhave drawn a scene equivilant to this one, and I wanted to draw something that deserved more love in the story.. but I drew the pencils for this last night when I was completely exhausted, but I didn't want to go to sleep without drawing at least 1 thing. However due to how tired I was the only thing I wanted to draw something warm and cosy and snuggly XD so I just got onto the bandwagon. please forgive my lack of originality ;___;

Anyway.. I can't believe I spent 13 hours on this thing's colouring, in my opinion the finished product doesn't really reflect the amount of work I put into it I'm sorry! I promise when I do more fanart for this fic (and I will ) it'll be something different and better looking, but for now you're stuck with this XD;;
That being said I don't think the picture sucks, not at all. I like How Mike turned out. It could seem a bit of a feminine pose but really it looks more childish to me personally.. and again i myself was half dead when I drew him so that's basically me reflected there XDDD I like How Raph came out too.
But yeah, It's not the best thing I've ever drawn. But oh well, better luck next time, and hopefully drawing when I'm NOT exhausted will help.

ANYWAY (again) This is one of my favourite scenes in the fic itself, and I can't exactly say why. It's just a scene that stands out in my mind and one I'm really fond of. I cannot remember all the details exactly, I'm unsure whether Leo had his mask on or not during this time or how big his wing had grown... or if it's on the right side of his body XDDD;;; I'M SO SORRY AMEMUSASHI!!

if anything though, this picture really got me wanting to re-read the entire thing again XDDDD oh dear.

And speak of the devil, I hear the entrance to the lair, the old iron door creaks and groans, as they all step in one by one, leaving Raph in the end, securely closing and locking it, before they marched their way towards us.

"Welcome back, my sons." Father greeted them with a smile.

"Thank you, Sensei." Don greeted back, bowing his head, before he plopped on the couch next to me, releasing a heavy, tired sigh.

"Man, I'm beat." Mike piped out, dropping at the other side of the couch, sitting besides me.

Now, careful peeling the wing off my side, he leaned against my shoulder, snuggling under the wing, his hand already grabbing the tail end, pulling it over him like a bed sheet, and idly toying and fingering with the tail end of the feathers there, while snuggling into my side, and then let out a relived sigh; I smiled, a little surprised at his choice of picking me for a bedding.

"Wake me up in ten minutes." He murmured sleepily, closing his eyes.

"Okay." I gave a small chuckle.

Shifting sideways a little, allowing him a little more comforting position to the side of my plastron, while resting my side on the backrest of the couch; I gently pulled him into the crook of my arm, but not fully pulling him from my side to my front.

I'm used to it, he'd been doing it a lot as of late.

Raph on the other hand, although clearly tired as well, was still slightly fuming, muttering under his breath. He just, somewhat-curtly, bowed his head to Sensei, before making a beeline to the punching bag, as if wanting to beat the stuffing out of it.

The last fanfic I read before this one I read 4 years ago. it has been FOUR YEARS since I decided to try and give fanfiction a second chance, those who know me know I'm not a giant fan of what most people write. But this fic converted me completely. Go read it! It's not lame, or sueish, or yaoi. It's just.. ...Mythic... because "Epic" isn't enough.

anyway I promise to do better fanart for it next time. it is now 3:04 am.. ...I'm going to bed *passes out*
