I've only had parsnips cooked, in stew and as the vegitable side dish. Never had celery root.

Physically not too much, but taste-wise oh yeah. Parsnips are certainly a very sweet vegetable, you can sometimes use them as candy substitutes.

I actually checked to see the origins of that gag, and thought you mixed up the characters, then looking back here, I see that was not the case. The yellow one and the blue one switched roles in the first panel and that threw me off.

It is almost like a total role reversal. DD is the one who is all happy and moe and stuff while CC is the one who is annoyed. We get a taste of our good old DD at the end though.

And yep, I recently got a Samsung Chromebook for my mother, and I actually like it, so I figured it'd need a subtle advertisement here.
And yep, I've been there... oh boy, how I've been there lots of times (including back when I was looking for a Chromebook, now that you mention it).

I bet I'd like a Chromebook... until I wanted to play a game. Other than that, it fulfills ~90 of my netbook usage.
I've had some laughably bad experiences with sales people. One time I picked up a PC game (in the PC game section) and the sales guy just said "You know that's for PC,right?"

haha! And I just came back from the grocery store, and realized I screwed up -- I meant to write parsley root rather than celery root! What a travesty! >v<
But fortunately celery root can kinda/sorta look like parsley (same colour and leaves), although parsley roots are truly and frighteningly similar. XD
