These are the oaths of the Green, Violet, Red and Orange Lantern Corps. One upholds order, one preserves love, another fuels greed and the last, hatred of the other. Their lights shine brightly together, always in conflict with each other. It is best to preserve the balance or risk unleashing chaos and death into the cosmos.

Green Lantern is my favourite DC hero, more than Batman or Superman or any other member of the Justice League. So it was natural that I ended drawing Green Lantern and some of the other lanterns like Atrocitus, Larfleeze, Carol Ferris and Ch’p. I’ve always liked John Stewart but Hal Jordan to me is the goated lantern to go for here. Plus he and Carol are a thing so it works out well.
