Once Quasi reoriented himself onto his paws, he turned and shot straight for the rocky covered dirt path. However, since Grizzly had a goofy wide grin on his face, he seemed almost unaware of the reason why he was joining the chase on Quasi at all. Good. Despite Grizzly’s large and imposing stature and reputation as one of the greatest members the pack has ever had (Beta or not), he wasn’t very bright, and was way to subservient and affable to truly work hard to rise the ranks in the pack.
“AHAAAHH!! We got you now, Quasi!”

“There’s no avoiding us this time!”
Quasi looked up in surprise at the new voices sounding above him, and was met with the sight of his two other pursuers, Stag and Screech.

Both of them were, arguably, two of the best hunters the pack has also ever had, with a great sense of teamwork in the way of tracking by both scent and sight. But they also had their shortcomings in the way of their lesser abilities in strategy and planning. So it was quite the surprise to Quasi in the fact that they had come up with a plan to trap him like this from above and also behind.

However, he grinned to himself in excited determination, they were forgetting who they were dealing with.

Quasi’s stormy blue eyes glinted as he focused his mind in gaining as many details as he could in the span of a millisecond before he inevitably came up with a counter to their plan.

Stag’s and Screech’s paws drew closer and closer to his back, Grizzly was charging straight from behind Quasi in the one way dirt path. Where one would think they were trapped with no way of escape, Quasi saw several ways of escape and counterattacks. But he merely settled on one, and as they were closing in on him in the air, he made his move—
