What a powerful image.
So many people believe that there is always some kind of power figure behind the curtain, I don't care which kind, politician, dictator, sideline manipulator, but to me, this piece is saying there's no way to fight against something like that. The fact that the hands are letting the string slip through, rather than holding on and helping is a really strong image.
Kind of cold. Great piece though.
