I finally decided to fuss with Roseanne and get her into the lightbox for a few pictures. She was better behaved than I thought she'd be, but was... Cautious. We're not friends yet, but we're working on it.I love that orange tail and those silver eyes. She's a real knockout, completely different looking than Oswald, our male hypo.
I tried it cropped a few different ways, but this is definitely my favorite.
Protip: Don't get into a staring contest with a snake. They don't have eyelids.

Omg her snout/nose/snubby thang is so damn cute. And this is coming from someone who has a strange... well, not phobia of snakes, but a slight "urg" feeling. I wanna give one a cuddle, but I also don't incase I get grossed out... weirdo.

I used to have a bit of an "urg" feeling with snakes too. I decided to get one as a pet to get over it, and now we have about 50, so it kind of backfired a little, lol!

I am able to go extended times without blinking, but seeing as snakes have no eyeslids, it would be a contest I could never win in a gazillion years.....cute snake though.

I know some hypos start pale and slowly get into color, but it almost looks like she's going to shed.
I'm sure it's just my computer *knocks it*

I think she's just plain pale like that. She shed pretty recently if my memory serves right (which it might not, we're over the 40 snake mark so it's hard to keep them straight sometimes, lol!) It's odd, she's got such a pale head like that, but our other hypo has like a gray head. Snakes, bah.
