It's about the same length as the NERF Maverick end to end, it's just that the internals are more compact, allowing it to be less bulky than the Maverick. That also means though that it's internals are less mechanically durable than the Maverick.

Wonderful work!

I've been searching for a pair of these Lanard Rotator X8s for a while now, and even emailing Lanard, they don't sell 'em. Ebay doesn't even have any.

I found this one on Amazon.com through a 3rd party seller. At the time they only had 2 left but it looks like they have more now:

So very awesome, thank you for the direction! I swear last time I looked, Amazon didn't have them. Well, now there's 2 less in circulation.

Haha!

Very nice refinishing. I really appreciate your description of the work done and materials used. That is exactly what I find most interesting.

Thanks,

I often wonder if I shouldn't tell people my "secrets" Cause that means less customers. But then I remember how few things I actually make and sell and I decide it doesn't matter.

I completely agree. I too have expended a lot of my energy not selling things. But there is something of value in volunteering your knowledge and becoming an "expert in the field".

Thanks,

Yes I have thought about doing a tutorial video on my painting process. I'm going to be doing a panel at a convention coming up next month about steampunk and anime toy gun conversion/painting, and I'll need to have video to show the process.

Your work is just AWESOME! I wish I could do it. I have a few nerf guns I bought just to try but I can never work up the nerve to try. Ever think about doing Youtube video instructionals? Tips on painting and stuff.
