*sigh* Where do I start...?

Made in MS Paint 'cause I felt like it. Started this at around two or three in the morning a day or two ago, worked on it until around four... Picked it up again tonight and finished it. I guess I was thinking about how odd the name of my hometown is whilst browsing Myspace. I know, it's weird. Mostly for my own amusement. Drawing in pixels is so hard. At least Metallica makes it all better.

Two folks not yet seen fully on my gallery... I can't draw people in pixels. XD You might see more of them later on... The guy should definitely be around more often, at any rate. *coughmaincharactercough* I'm always too afraid to draw him for some reason... ¬,¬ The girl isn't really in the main books, but I may change my mind and have her make a cameo somewhere. I dunno.

The joke is that the name of the town is called "Toms River," but you'd expect it to be "Tom's River." I thought it was for the longest time, but I was shown the error of my assumption. "Tom's River" would look as though the river was named after a man called Tom, but it's not possessive. So... A river of Toms?

The Tom I used is the head honcho at Myspace, if ya didn't know. Just borrowed his profile image, 'cause it should be pretty recognizable, so people should be more able to get the joke, lame as it is.

Oh yeah, that's supposed to be the Pine Barrens in the background, hence the little Jersey Devil flying over them. And that god-awful yellow color in the top panel is almost the color of my living room wall; in reality, it's closer to 'Velveeta cheese,' but I don't wanna hurt anyone's eyes. Any other miscellaneous stuff I can talk about?

Oh yeah. Not exactly pleased with the whole flow of things in this one: people aren't as expressive as I'd like, (pixels I'll get youuu!) and there really should be more panels focusing on faces and stuff for changes in expression, (but I'm a lazy bum and didn't wanna draw a bunch more faces...) the anatomy's probably off a lot, I'd like more depth and perspective using a wider variety of colors in order to make it more realistic, (again, blame my laziness,) and I'm sure there are more things, but I can't think of 'em right now... Ah well, it was amusing to do.
