Description
Well. Today's World AIDS Day, so I decided to make an emoticon about it.For those who didn't understand, that lil red thingie is an evil Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) .__.'
I think it's a bit fast... :T
Whatever... ._. -hm
*Edit*
wow
i didn't expect someone would find this stuff after a year i submitted it, or even put it on daily deviantions
thanx, dudes (:
about it being so fast, i guess i can't fix it anymore, i've lost the original ):
condoms don't fully protect you from aids, there are many other ways you can get it without having sex. but aids is a std, meaning it's mainly transmited during the sex, so it's better to protect urself than doing it with anyone thinking condom won't save you.
It DOES prevent you from getting aids, but there is a kind of condom used only for anticonceptive purpose, that one indeed have the pores and can let the virus pass.
but that's it, thanx for all the comments, faves etc. :B

Great concept and all...but condoms can't protect against HIV...the viruses are way, way smaller than the tiny holes found in the relatively permeable condom. However, it does protect against things like herpes.

Actually, yes it does. It's approximately 98% effective when used correctly, and is the ONLY form of safe sex that protects from HIV/AIDS.

So, everything I know about HIV, which I've studied, what I've been told in sex ed, and the condom packages are all wrong?

If to present that 1 micron = 1 sm,
Condom = at length to 1,5 km, in diameter to 250 m and a thickness of walls to 15 sm;
Micropores in a condom = 5 sm in diameter;
AIDS virus = 0,1 sm in diameter;
Virus of a herpes (herpes) = 0,3 sm in diameter
gonorrhoea = 0,5 sm in diameter;
syphilis = in diameter of 1 sm and at length of 6 sm;
sperm seed = in diameter of 3 sm and at length of 50 sm;
Since micropores at least in 15 times more than AIDS virus, attempt will be protected from them by means of condoms – all the same what to be protected from a rain by an umbrella full of holes.

Say that we're just talking sex contact.
HIV would be passed through seminal, or vaginal fluid. Condoms are DESIGNED to prevent these fluids from exiting, or entering.
From wikipedia: "A 1999 meta-analysis of studies of condom use showed that the consistent use of latex condoms reduces the risk of sexual transmission of HIV by about 85%.[31] However, spermicide may actually increase the transmission rate"
aids.about.com
"The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) offers the following recommendation with regard to STD and AIDS prevention:
"Condoms are effective in preventing HIV and other STDs."
Laboratory studies show that latex condoms are effective barriers to HIV and other STDs. In addition, several studies provide compelling evidence that latex condoms are highly effective in AIDS prevention when used for every act of intercourse. This protection is most evident in studies of serodiscordant couples; those couples with one positive and one negative partner."
So, laboratory studies are also wrong? The reason Herpes is less effective is because you don't need SEXUAL contact to pass it on, just skin to skin.
