Okay, so this is my first time writing a critique...hopefully I do this right. Overall, this picture is amazing. I love your designs for all of them, especially Snowtuft. On Ivypool, well, looks amazing, as do all of them. The background is pretty cool; it seems like it would be in the Dark Forest. I really admire the detail that you put into each of your characters. That takes guts; I know I could never animate such complex characters!

I'm not going to post an official Critique because, quite frankly, that little "Write A Critique" button scares me. However, since you did specifically request it (and I'm always critiquing whether you want me to or not), I'll just write it here in the comments.

The image looks great, you obviously paid a lot of attention to detail in the characters. I noticed when I first looked at the image that Hawkfrost's mask is uneven, which is really neat. I'm not certain if that's something you've done before or not, but I noticed it this time, anyway. It makes the coloration more believable and realistic. The focus of the image, Hawkfrost and Ivypool, looks excellent as well. I'm not entirely certain what Ivypool is supposed to be feeling, the cat looks like it's just chilling with Hawkfrost standing on its chest. However the pose is believable and realistic, even if the emotion isn't strongly conveyed. If the cat is upset by this, you could draw back the whiskers, expose the teeth, scrunch the snout, and flick the ears back, all of which I'm sure you know already.

Thistleclaw and Snowtuft look a tad bit off, as if they're standing at an awkward angle, which is the same problem that you had on that Scourge image you did a short while ago. The perspective on Hawkfrost and Ivypool is great, but I think you need to work more on perspective for slightly-angled kitties. I can't quite put my finger on what's wrong with it, I just know it looks off.

I'm never going to stop harassing you about your backgrounds. You spend so much time on the characters, they always end up so detailed and fantastic, but then you always throw together a background that is nowhere near as detailed, and it just ends up making the image feel cheapened. Backgrounds are very important for setting the mood or telling the story of the image, and I really would love to see you focus more on making them look as fantastic as your characters. I honestly have no idea where these guys are supposed to be. I guess that's grass, that might be dirt, but I don't know, y'know? Too much blur, makes kitties look like they're floating in a dreamscape rather than walking in a forest.
