So I go to find the references in Miiroku 's gallery, when I see I have not caught myself up with the recent page of Serenity! D:< Gaaaasp

-all the spoilers-

I had so much fun reading it, though! Jasper's so great, I just adore him so much, his argument with Fae when it comes to the subject of what's murder and rightfully ending is just so great. And while I was switching between the trade and a Mandatory AMV, I kept thinking of was how much Radio despises Video's apathy towards killing as well, and really grew respect for Fae for being able to have the courage to stand up for her beliefs while Radio's just 'okay just a disapproving glare will work, don't eat me'.

Before I was kind of worried for Mandatory since it's also a circumstance where three characters are thrown into a situation beyond their control and have to work with what they can, but the latest page in Serenity made me realize a difference. Jasper, Zeke and Fae had known each other for a while before Serenity begins, whereas for Mandatory, not a single one of the three has ever interacted with each other beforehand.
Radio isn't going to confront Video like Fae did Jasper, she's unfamiliar with her, she has no history with her, they know nothing about each other. Fae knows Jasper as this sweet friend who helped her get food and water when everyone disappeared. Radio knows Video's here to keep her and Pictures in line.

Revealing more about Mandatory while Blue's comic progressed, I found myself kinda dreading the idea people would assume I was referencing or taking guidance from the interactions shown in Serenity, but finding that key to one of the story differences, it helped me kind of relax over the matter since both are important pieces of the story, but both went in different routes. It makes me feel like as we both post our stories, it'll branch off in even more different directions ♥ magical monkeys and singing cats will probably do that.

Srsly, though, that scene was so intense. I found it so believable and just really wonderful how you portrayed everyone's emotion towards such a subject. Great work, Blue, I just, am so excited for the next pages as always. ;w;

Zeke and Pictures are also both in these scenes, but they're just 'I'm so not getting into this one', so yeah! Have a drawing, I hope you like it!
