Description
Instructions for creating a functional origami dip pen. It's a little tough to get right. Make sure your folds are very accurate (especially on the nib, leave space for where layers pack together). Flat/chisel tipped tweezers help! Keep in mind, if you want to try writing with this model, some tweaking may be necessary. Some advice, try to get the tines parallel but not overlapping. After the narrowing step, the tines should be touching all the way through the tip (As shown in the 11th step).
Note:
To make your own tissue foil, you will need: (this is the way I did it)
Aluminum foil, tissue paper(your choice of color), PVA glue (Elmer's glue), water, foam roller, cylindrical rod.
1. Mix elmer's glue and water in a 1:1 ratio. You shouldn't need that much.
2. Lay the foil flat on a flat waterproof surface (I used a glass table)
3. Coat aluminum with water/PVA mixture (I used a foam roller).
4. Roll tissue paper around the rod and roll the paper onto the aluminum foil. try to avoid wrinkles, push out any bubbles
5. Carefully lift up the damp tissue foil and hang to dry. once dry, cut to size.
Any PVA left on the flat surface should come right off with a damp paper towel.
Update: For clarification and slight tweak to make the tines line up easier.

It's like one of those old-timey pens where you dip it in an inkwell before you write something

It just means the two outer dashed lines will meet in the center. The "behind" part just indicates on which side the edges will meet.

I tried making it out of regular origami paper first..when you say "narrow the tip", I can't really tell what you mean, and I'm pretty sure that's the step i derped on, as my final pen has a really messed up tip.
