Yes! more startrails!
This is a surf-livesaver watch tower at a local beach. Pretty good idea since a few tourists have drowned here...Around 40 min exposure, tower lit with LED torch

This is sheer brilliance, the clear, sharpness of it all is outstanding. Love the idea of using the flash light to light the tower, very well shot mate.

Full moon will give the light sky Cain has got, half moon will give you a darker effect.

i think your focus is ok.. its more to do with the camera not being still enough. Looks like its been moved - tiny, like wind or shakey finger on shutter button? the lines in the sky should be smooth and yours have little jaggies... Tripod and shutter release/remote and make sure nothing comes near it

apparently it can.. thats why i've been taking lots of 30sec shots and blending them
