Description
The last week has been brilliant for taking photos, mostly because of the cloud coverage which hung around. I took avantage and went to the beach with my cameraThis was taken at Town Beach, Port Macquarie, Australia.

It feels like the earth is being pulled from underneath us in this shot. Actually, whenever I have stood on the beach and the water would move back toward the ocean, I have experienced that kind of feeling.

That's an awesome sky.. And really good composition. Especial the wave crushing on the rock in the right, makes the whole very dynamic. Good job

very nice - like the colours, wave caught in mid-air and the rocks.
did the wind blow the trees in the background?

Beautiful shot with lovely colors and nice movement together with a good composition.
THO, you gotta get that horizon straight man, can't have it off like that.

You can also edit it and change in RAW-software as well when you do get an horizon that's off.

good stuff mate! did you make use of blending several shots together or rather using GND filters?

CainPascoe In reply to da-phil [2010-07-01 06:17:42 +0000 UTC]
Thanks Phil! Used the GND filters as well as some blending(from the same RAW file)

i shall get some good quality glass from lee some day because i don't wanna work with the cheap colour cast prone cokin crap anymore. i'm rather taking the time for blending each time than using this crap for any longer
which vendor are your GNDs from? some time ago drew told me that hitech delivers decent quality for a very reasonable price...
