it usually works best without any direct sunlight a tripod is definitely a must too...

Beautiful! I lived for a while in NZ, it reminds me of the rainforest bush there. Slight pang of memories...
Such a lovely capture, the misty stream and dense undergrowth are fascinating to look at.
The angle of the shot and the sunlit back are the cherry on the top!

P.S. If you happen to visit NZ, I think you'll find the South island more attractive as it has a more conserved nature (rainforest etc.).
