Description
Name: RedAlert/RedCode.
Nickname: Alert/Code, Red.
Age: 40 in Cybertronian Standard.
Height: 14 feet (4.27 meters).
Gender: Mech
City: Icon .
Alt Mode: Light Cycle-like ground vehicle.
Faction: None (former Autobot and former Decepticon).
Function: None (former lieutenant and head of the Prime’s security for the Autobits, low-ranking security officer for the Decepticons).
Weapons: His servos can transform into security issue stunners, and his data cable can produce severe electric shocks and they are extremely strong.
Personality: First thing that you should know is that he has a split personality. There’s RedAlert and RedCode. RedAlert is very serious about his work, while he’s on duty it’s really not a good idea to bug him. He’s friendly but in a rather distant way, as though he’s interested in being your friend but not in you being his. RedAlert takes all responsibility for problems and mishaps that happen in his unit, because of this he blames himself heavily for the destruction of his home city of Icon and the fall of moon base three. RedAlert believes he is not capable of serving the Autobots--that he has felled every extinguished Iconolee spark and every extinguished spark on moon base three--and since those around him do not seem to see his inability to secure the sparks around himself, he only option to not fail again is by extinguishing himself.
RedCode also takes his job very seriously, however he does not blame himself for all catastrophes; rather, he blames, hates really, the Autobots for removing him from his post and Icon and thus preventing him from protecting the city. His hate causes him to want revenge against any Autobot he can get his servos on.
Likes:
- Causing others to feel some of the pain he holds inside (RedCode).
- The thought of extinguishing himself (RedAlert).
- Sparklings and younglings (RedCode: because they are so weak and easy to hurt).
Dislikes:
- Sparklings and younglings (RedAlert: they remind him of the sparks lost in Icon).
- Autobots (RedCode blames them for the destruction of his city).
- Living (Both of them just want to die, though in different ways).
Weakness:
- Blames himself for everything that goes wrong (RedAlert).
- Considers himself worthless (both).
- Is inexplicably terrified of Infernal (RedAlert).
Strengths:
- Can hack almost any system.
- Fluent in servo talk (sign language).
- Strong moral code (RedAlert).
Personal Quotes:
- ”Death is very likely the single best invention of Life.”
- “I don’t care any more.”
Status:
Strength: 6/10 He’s strong for his size.
Speed: 8/10 He could almost give Blurr a run for his money over the right terrain.
Agility: 9/10 Well, he needs some way to escape from mechs, and femmes, taller than himself.
Endurance: 5/10 He’s small and can’t store much energy.
Defense: 3/10 When he’s caught, he’s caught.
Intelligence: 9/10 This is negated by his insanity.
Attack: 6/10 Most of his skills are for his old frame type, and wheels just aren’t as good as blades when it comes to trying to slash someone apart.
Aim: 7/10 He’s okay.
Temperament: 1/10 Crazy? I was crazy once. They put me in a box, the box was full of worms. The worms made me crazy… Crazy? I was crazy once.
History: He was born Alert of Icon. His creators loved him very much--all sparklings are loved by everyone in Icon--but were worried by the fact that when he developed an alt mode, he didn’t have any peds. Insteed, he had blades (like ice skate blades) at the base of each of his legs. Although Alert struggled, he has several processor glitches, he showed his ability to excel in the separatist city (a separatist city was one that did not adhere to the functional council. Only two existed at this time on Cybertron, Voss , and Icon). OrangeAlert (BTW, colors denote status or rank, so Orange just means he’s in training to become an officer of the city) seemed to have developed a second personality--Code--after he was caught by some traveling Functionalists and barely escaped with his life.
OrangeAlert and OrangeCode knew all about each other and seemed to get along fine, with OrangeAlert being the most active one. They both eventually became the Red of Civil Security for all of Icon, and when Icon allied with the Autobots at the start of the war, he worked closely with the unit of Autobots stationed in the city. Neither RedAlert nor RedCode liked that the Autobots came to their city, though they were willing to work with them at the direction of their superior YellowDownshift.
As the war worsened, Optimus Prime requested that RedAlert be transferred from his job protecting the city to serve as one as The Primes lieutenants. RedAlert and RedCode were not happy with this, but they went. The Autobot Inferno was assigned as RedAlert’s ‘bodyguard,’ though the three of them knew that Inferno’s real instructions were to keep RedCode from taking over for RedAlert, because the former desperately wanted to return to protecting his city. After the civilians of Icon were butchered by attacking Decepticons, RedCode swore to destroy the Autobots as revenge for taking him from his post protecting his city, after this he planned to extinguish himself for failing to protect his people. RedAlert fell into depression for a time, mourning the loss of young sparks.
RedAlert was later deployed to moon base three. Almost from the beginning, RedCode was in control of what they did. He planned to betray the base over to the Decepticons, however a kink was thrown into his plans when Lieutenant Prowl was deployed to moon base three to take command of the northern army. When the Decepticons finally attacked the base, RedCode killed Inferno and abandoned the southern army to fall into a energon bath. RedCode’s plan worked for the most part, except that rather than letting the moon base fall into Decepticon servos, Prowl had it destroyed, extinguishing everyone who couldn’t get off the satellite.
RedCode and RedAlert spent most of the rest of the war as a low ranking officer in the Decepticon army, mentally, neither one of them was in control, though RedCode was slightly more dominant. They acquired a new alt mode (seen above in the picture) somewhere along the lines, and when both armies began to fall apart (about the time Megatron and Optimus began to move the battle to Earth) RedAlert convinced RedCode to abandon the Decepticons. It was RedAlert’s goal to extinguish himself as soon as possible for the many, many sparks he had caused to be destroyed. RedCode prefered to tear apart any Autobot he could get his servos on.
They became stranded on an organic planet almost from the moment they left the Decepticons (not having a flight mode can do that). After the war concluded, a group of Autobot’s brought them back to Cybertron. RedAlert took every chance he could to destroy himself and RedCode took every chance he could to kill the Autobots that surrounded them.
Relationships:
- Inferno : Petrohexian Autobot and RedAlert’s bodyguard. The two were friends, though RedCode hated him. Inferno was extinguished in the fall of moon base three.
- Firestar : Inferno’s bond mate sometimes helped RedAlert deal with having a split personality.
Extra:
- RedCode taught Soundwave how to really hack and Soundwave taught him how to actually use his data cables as weapons.

Thanks! I know he doesn't look mush like he does in any of the shows, but I really like it.
