Description
It's been awhile since I uploaded anything, so I thought I'd slap up a melange of doodles I've done recently. They're just random, and don't really go together, yet for some reason I find the combination amusing.
Also, as if you didn't know, Pinky and the Brain are copyright Β© Warner Bros.
The rest is mine all mine. (Β© Chris Vanderford)

Thank you.
This is where I would usually make some kind of a "rock" joke, but I got nothin'. I guess you could say I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
...Ha! There you go. There's the joke.

Fond memories indeed...
I just recently got a YouTube channel on my Wii, so I've been on an Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain kick here recently.

Your and WB's characters all look pretty good together here!

Yeah, well I'd be lying if I said my style wasn't heavily influenced by Warner Bros.
So I won't. 'Cause, y'know... lying is wrong, so... y'know... don't do it. Unless you're lying down. I which case I think that's okay.

Ah, somebody's been reading the title I see...
And remember, "Troz is just Zort in a mirror."

Yep, I've been reading it.
Of course I do, that's why I said it, Zort!

I miss Gidget! I'm actually itching to draw some fanart of her!

CalamityKangaroo In reply to Gabe-S-Art [2013-09-19 12:58:28 +0000 UTC]
Well, you wouldn't miss her if you had better aim...
*Ba-Dum Kiiissh!*
Seriously, though, feel free to scratch that itch. Just don't break the proverbial skin. Mayhaps a little metaphorical ointment?...
Standard rules apply, of course; anything you do with her has to be PG and you've got to have "Β© Chris Vanderford" in there somewhere if you're going to post it.

I could use some metaphorical ointment after that burn you just gave me. Seriously, dude, owtch!
Glad I have your blessing. Of corse I'll credit you in the description (I'd feel weird putting a copyright in my sketchbook). And I had no intention of doing anything NSFW, unless you count stuffing or pregnancy, in which case I'll also avoid that.

I would be much obliged if you would avoid that sort of thing, simply because it might raise certain implications I'd rather avoid...

I'll tell you the same thing I tell everybody... 3 things: practice, practice, and oh... what was the third one?... riverdancing?... no... oh, yeah, that's right - Practice. Draw all you can and always try to improve. Stretch yourself and draw things you haven't tried before. Study other artists' works and try to learn from them. Even *gasp* try to emulate them. It's all good practice and helps you develop and refine your own style and abilities.

I didn't say anything about stealing. Always give credit where credit is due.

Eh, I wouldn't consider that stealing; but at this point we're just arguing semantics, anyway. I get what you mean.
