Description
Hey there guys, so I finally finished my improvement painting on an old piece that I had done a few years ago. This took me over 8 hours at least to finish, I spent nearly the whole day working on it, and I'm proud to finally say that it's done!!I had a blast working on this painting, I haven't drawn an MLP painting in a very long time, and it was nice to be able to work on one again. I learned a lot of new things while working on this, and one of the things that I really ended up liking was how the lines of the ponies are still there with the actual painting, it has a more "Traditional" feel I guess you could say to it. The one thing that was very tricky were the wings, I had a hard time trying to find a way to place them and make them proportionally correct, but hey, I did the best I could, and I think that they turned out alright in the end. ^^
I hope you guys like how this piece turned out, and here is the old one to compare it to:
Thank you guys again for checking out my work, I really appreciate it, and until the next painting, y'all take care!

The detailing and texturing are terrific, but...I'm not sure the angle on their wings is quite right; it almost seems like their wings are spread out to show us as much of the backs of them as possible. And the wings are connected at their forelegs' shoulders, rather than the middle of their torsos, if you understand what I mean.

Hey man, I'm glad you like the details and textures, and thank you for your feedback, I can definitely see where I messed up there, I'll have to work on that the next time I decide to draw a pony. And the angles were hard for me to get, because I've been practicing perspective, and I was trying to make sure that the wings were set in perspective as much as possible, but the hard part was trying to get that angle to work, so yeah, I've definitely have a lot of practice to do to make sure things look as accurate as possible. ^^
