Description As the title says above, this is a redraw of the very first picture that I ever put here on dA!! I was curious to see how and where I've improved on my art... and I guess judging from digital and traditional isn't the best way, but I thought the comparisons were still interesting to look at!

It's a very nice piece. The only thing that bothers me is that Rainbow Dash, the center piece, doesn't even take up half the space of the whole piece. That makes it hard to see how her body is placed.

Nice remake! The background is pretty good, but Dash looks now really cool, but cute at the same time. Great job!

Thank you so much!! And yeah, I like the old one myself, in fact I am very fond of that picture, because it is both my first real MLP picture that I ever made, and my first picture that I ever put up on Deviantart! ^^

My fav. part of the old one is the eyes. They're so beautiful with a great expression ^^ Wish I could draw eyes like that :33

Wow thats really cool. You can still see the same basic style in both but just a little different in the second. Yes it is a stretch comparisson between digital and traditional but you have improved quite a bit I'd say. Well done!

Good question! I always had the impression that she had lost something dear to her, or something that she is longing for, but exactly what that could be, I'm not entirely sure!  I guess it's up to the viewer to determine in his or her own mind what it is that she has lost!
