Description ((Here he is~! Mr. Tall himself. xD Seriously, I made him like a giant. If he's bigger than Gaster, then he's a giant! Only necessary since he works in a huge library. He loves cataloging things in his every day life (mostly the things he deems important) and reading as many tomes and papers he can get his hands on. He's very smart, but aloof and cold. But he's not a monster, people. He still has feelings, but with what he's been through on the surface, he'd much rather bottle them up for fear of getting hurt again. He has major trust issues, but the one person he trusts the most in the entirety of the planet is his family, especially his biggest sister, Calibri. She's basically the mother figure of the family, so of course he goes to her the most.

Also, Consolas thinks she can do better. Gaster is not amused...

Edit: He is 8 feet and 5 inches tall... :I ))

Calibri-Light In reply to ??? [2016-12-01 00:22:58 +0000 UTC]

Consolas blinked almost lazily for a bit before offering his nephew a small smile. It was difficult since the skeleton hardly ever showed any emotion. Now, he never liked Gaster. Not in the least bit. He just didn't like him because he was A.) A scientist, and B.) He was married to his sister. He was a man who always believed his eldest sister deserved better with how great he thought she was. But he supposed there was an upside. She had kids and they were both very bright and wonderful. Just like his big sister.

So Consolas reached down and helped pick the small skeleton up. "^i did, and i wanted to see my family. it has been a long while since we have all last seen each other." When Consolas heard Sans mention a friend, the skeleton chuckled and patted the top of his nephew's head. "^wonderful news, sans. that is wonderful news."

He nodded happily as he didn't remember the last time Consolas came for a visit. Last time was when he most likely was a small toddler and Papyrus just a baby recently born. "I started school with Auto and we're always playing together. He's the best friend i've got. Daddy is always gone at his labott....laboratory and mom is training hard for the royal guard. I really want to be a royal guard too but dad grounded me because i left really late to play with Auto. Mom was worried.." He was ashamed of his actions but he was at the same time proud that he dared to face the darkness. "Papyrus is always sleeping but i'm sure he fakes because when mom turn around he starts to cry again. He doesn't like sleeping." He tried to tell so much about him and Papyrus but at the same time about Gaster and Calibri. "Yesterday dad showed me something weird..and it was all red and stuff..it looked dangerous."

Consolas frowned just a bit at the mention of Gaster showing him something dangerous. "^i see...it would be best if you stayed away from it, then. your mother would be upset if something happened. but i'm glad that you and papyrus are doing well. i brought gifts." he told him while walking over to his backpack. He pulled out two books and handed one to Sans. It was a book about astronauts and what they did in space.

The second book was a simple baby book for Papyrus. He knew he had fluffy bunny playing peekaboo, but this one was about the same character, but this time it involved friendship. He knew Papyrus would like it.

He was about to reveal what Gaster called it when he looked surprised to see the book. He hugged it with a happy expression on his face. "Yay! I love space! I remember seeing small sparkling stars when i was really small. The only thing i could remember was mom and all the stars! I want to see them again." He opened a few pages to see stars. He held the book up to Consolas. "I wanna see the stars one day with everyone. Mom and dad and you and and..auntie. I want to everyone to be there." He didn't really remember much of his own mother's siblings but he really wanted to see them too.

Consolas smiled and patted the top of his head. "^one day, sans. one day when you and your brother are older. but things are a bit rough up above. we skeletons are kind of in hiding right now because of it. it's nothing bad, just a lot of misunderstandings. we'll be fine, though. don't you worry." he explained before putting his backpack aside again. "^anyways, tell me more about you. are you still working hard in your studies at school? what about your friend? how have things been with him?" he asked as he took out a notebook and pen. Being who he was, he couldn't help but write the important things down. When it came to his family, their lives were always important.

And who knows, being the only living skeletons in existence, this kind of stuff could be important to his library. Say they all continue finding and making more families like their elder sister! Their children would probably want to know more about their lineage when they got older.

He nodded at that since he recalled Calibri telling him that she was conversing alongside with Asgore. "Yeah..mom uses alot of time talking. She told me to take care of Papyrus while she is out there.." He clung a little to the book he had got then he gave a bright smile. "I'm the best in class and i know how to read. When i grow up i wanna be a scientist or a royal guard." He mentioned scientist since his father was doing so much curious things and it was something he'd want to know more about. He was unaware that Consolas wasn't too fond of Gaster or his experiments. "I am making sure mom is okay when she comes back. Since she looks like she is thinking alot about the meetings she have. That's why i learned how to make Papyrus dinner." He wanted to show Consolas the formula he feeds Papyrus at only six years of age. He seemed proud of himself of being able to take care of his family even if Gaster was busy.

(OMG! He looks so cool! I wanna rp with him too. XD Can i give just a small starter here too? I hope it won't bother you. )

When he was playing in his playpen he realized the tall figure staring or rather examining how he was playing and that made him look back up to see who this newcomer was. Surely he had never seen him before and before he really could say anything loud cries came from the room where Papyrus was sleeping. The pesky pacifier has fallen down once again and demanded attention. With the loud crying he reacted to every moment and tried to get up or rather to stand from where he was failing everytime in trying to walk or crawl there since he was still in the playpen. Blue magic emitted from his eye but it was quite weak. "Maam!" He whined.

((It's fine. XD ))

Consolas stared at Sans, surprised at how intelligent he was at such a young age. When Calibri heard the cries, she rushed into action and told her little brother (major understatement) to sit on the couch and to relax while she helped Papyrus. He nodded his head and sat down. It was always hard for him to sit on these things since his legs were so long.

He was taller than Gaster, even Asgore, so that told them something.

He watched Calibri leave for Papyrus and that made him calm down since he knew wherever she went Papyrus would eventually calm down from crying so much. It was quite worrysome for even him. A small toddler who really shouldn't worry about anything. He was playing with a stuffed dinosaur toy looking a bit happier as he recognized Consolas. He was tall but he wasn't frightening so he immediately reached for him. "Goo!" His expression showed pure happiness when he wanted to be picked up by this strange looking skeleton. If his mother trusted him then so would he. He wanted to give the taller skeleton a hug and perhaps play with him if he wanted to.

(Thank you <3)

Consolas noticed the child and instantly got up. He towered at about 8 feet and 5 inches. Gaster was only 7 feet and 6 inches. This skeleton was the tallest in his mother's side, and for good reason. The man worked up on the surface and in the most luxurious and massive library in the entirety of the world. He had it refurbished and designed to fit his constant learning needs and he collected almost everything. Just not the things in the Smithsonian Museum, but one day he would get those things into his own library. One day...

Coming up to the child, he gently reached down and grabbed him up before holding him up to look him over. Consolas had a blank expression, though. Showing emotions was a thing he wasn't quite used to as of yet, since he spent most of his time with books. He was learning, though. "^so...you are my nephew. i must say, you look a lot like your mother." He examined the baby more and moved back to sit on the couch to made cradling him easier. "^you are very bright for an infant. perhaps when you're older and able to traverse the surface, you can look through some of the old tomes and scrolls i've collected in my library. you'll love what you find, i assure you."

Listening to him about stories and other types of books increased his curiousity of what he could possibly read and listen to. His eyes sparkled with interest and his smile got bigger reaching out to his face already taking a liking to him. Many other children would probably be uncertain of what to say on the skeleton but he wasn't keeping anything to himself and was expressing his emotions to him. "Goo~!" His grin got wider and he eventually gave lighthearted giggles. Since he had not experienced any resets or any of the sort he was really happy and had yet alot to learn. Listening about old tomes and scrolls and about history made him almost climb onto the much taller skeleton eagerly saying the words very poorly. "Tweww mee!" His eyes were still sparkling with excitement. Papyrus's cries had long diminshed since Calibri already sorted it out.

Coming back with Papyrus in her arms (he was suckling happily at his pacifier, the goofball), she sat down beside Consolas and smiled at her eldest baby. "I see you've told him about your books. Sans is very curious, he likes to learn as much as he can...at least to a point. In the middle of trying to read, he only ends up sleeping on the book. I think he got that from his father, though."

Consolas made a face at the mention of Gaster. He honestly thought Calibri could have found someone better, but considering her options...well, there were a lot of monsters in the Underground, but still, she could have found a more promising partner. This Gaster fellow just left the skeleton feeling uneasy...mostly because he really didn't trust any scientists whatsoever... "^yes...his father...how is the--" he had to pause so as not to insult his sister's husband to her face. "--man doing? is he still experimenting in his lab? it's cruel of him to leave you all alone with two babies to take care of.

Calibri blinked and tilted her head. "Well, he works very hard to make sure monsters thrive well in the Underground! It's because of him that we'll have electricity! And he's still working towards bigger and better things for all of us. But he's a real sweetheart here too! He tells a lot of jokes and he helps me out with cleaning and cooking when he can. He's really a great guy once you get to know him!" She smiled and Consolas remained expressionless. He still had his doubts.

He had the very same confused and curious expression wondering why he was making a face about his father. Was Gaster doing something he didn't like such as science. He found science to be very interesting but so was books and stories of unique kinds of humans and  other things. He wanted to know so much in such a little time and to the point where he could read by himself and almost speak. The look he gave made him give a look back then a big happy smile again. He liked Consolas even if he was interested in science and that he loved his father so  much. He looked over at Papyrus as he was more carefree and happy than ever for having his pacifier back but at times he accidently dropped it when he wanted to babytalk towards Calibri. It was such a cute sight. While they were conversing about Gaster he tried to say something. "Mama..staws." His expression got excited again since the last child book he looked into was filled with stars and planets alike. He wanted to see them for himself but he always fell asleep before he was able to see them. He looked from Calibri then back to Consolas in hopes that he was allowed to see them.

Smiling, Calibri chuckled and poked at the tip of Sans' nose with a finger. "Stars, sweetie? Well, I suppose I could show you the book again. But I have Papyrus here...Consolas? There's a bookshelf over there by the TV. Could you go and get Sans' Astronomy book? He loves hearing about the planets and the universe. He's honestly always loved space. I think it's really cute~" she giggled as the tall skeleton got up with Sans in his arms and went to retrieve the book.

Consolas was able to find the book rather easily and returned to the couch to flip it open. Sans sat on his lap rather comfortably and the tall skeleton began to point out facts about the book that even Calibri didn't know about from just reading the text alone. "^that constellation is orion. and then there's Scorpio over there. each constellation even has a story dating back to ancient times. some good...and some bad. but each one still so enchanting and intriguing to learn about"

The planets and the stars made him look in awe. Every page showed unique kinds of planets. He pointed towards the moon looking at Consolas with excited eyes. He liked how it looked white and circular just like the planet they lived in. Every speck of the stars was so interesting his eyes was practically digged to see everything. "Goo!" He loved everything about Astronomy and the explanations from a black hole to  a white one. It filled his mind with the wildest imaginations. Everytime he was shown his favorite astronomy book his expression showed pure happiness. The fact that Consolas explained more about the universe made him eager to tell everything around by just pointing at them.

((he is so toll and intimidating!  i love his design-- i love how you make all of them so different, yet they all are very clearly skeletons.  its awesome!))

Wow.  This was new.  Gaster was actually staring up at someone rather than looking down at him.  For a man that was over six feet tall, this was rare.  Hearing the words that the other uttered, Gaster frowned, his eyes narrowing slightly.  First the hooded figure, now this?  He remained silent for a few moments before hurrying to calm himself down.  One mustn't lose their cool in a situation like this.  After all, this skeleton was a sibling of Calibri's and he should at least try to be cordial.

A crooked grin made its way onto his face as he nodded.  "Maybe you're right.  Maybe I am unfit for her.  Maybe I am foolish.  But at the end of the day, it is Calibri's decision who she chooses.  You may be related to her, but in the end, it is her choice."  The shorter monster signed, neve skipping a beat.  "And if you believe you can control her decisions, perhaps it is you who is the foolish one."

I read the definition of it and trying to figure it out was very difficult. And it'll be a girl for that soul.))

Consolas narrowed his eye sockets at the man before him for a brief moment before it changed to cold indifference once more. "Was it? For all I know, you could have warped her mind with your monsterous tendencies. I know how all you scientists work. So fixated on every little thing when it comes to all things universal or living. I wonder...did you ever become so curious of her, of her background and soul, that you wondered what it would be like to take a small sample of her to study? To make her your guinea pig for whatever it was you needed to learn about the humans?"

His cold gaze didn't waver for a long time before he actually chuckled darkly. "This is why I stick to my books and daily logs...getting attached to strangers only gets you hurt...You'll hurt her with your curiosities. I know you will."

((No problem! I really like him. ;u; integrity should be a dance teacher, maybe?))

"Judging one based on the vast majority is a dangerous thing to do. You should know as well as me that everyone is unique." He looked him up and down. "Just look at you, for example. The vast majority of skeletons are dead remains of humans. Yet here you are, walking and talking I can't judge you on the vast majority of your kind." There was a small pause. "I'm not that kind of a scientist. Don't you think you should get to know me before jumping to any conclusions...?"

That last thing that he had said, though, really stuck to Gaster's mind. Sticking to books rather than people- that's what he did before meeting Calibri. It was a strange parallel. "I haven't hurt her in all my time that I've known her. I've been nothing but good. You can't possibly be so simpleminded." Oh, the ultimate brainiac insult.

((Oh yeah. XD What was Patience, then? I can't remember. XP ))

Both the skeleton's eye sockets lit up purple, and before he cpuld say anything to insult the man further, Calibri skipped up to them with a wide grin. "Hello~! How are my two favorite boys doing~?" she asked them after placing a kiss on Gaster's cheek. The purple lights in Consolas eye sockets vanished and he gave his sister a light now.

"^everything is...fine, big sister. your husband and i were merely having a chat about molecular deconstruction and reconstruction....just procedures to possibly revive monsters from dust perfectly." he lied through his teeth easily as a bead of sweat rolled down the side of his skull. Calibri frowned and tilted her head.

"What..? Well, I mean that would be something, but wouldn't it be best if "fallen" monsters just rested peacefully? Besides...I think Dr. Alphys already tried that...it didn't really work..."

((patience was the one with the bow and toy knife.  that one's gonna be a doozy.  i can't think of anything))

Gaster kissed Calibri back, on the cheek after she had kissed him.  It wasn't out of spite- he wasn't that kind of a guy.  No matter how angry he was, he would never rub Calibri into anyone's face.  That would have been undignified.  "Hello, Calibri.  I was just telling your brother that it's impossible and should never be attempted."  Flashes of Flowey's predicament crossed his mind and he quickly shook his head.  "Never.  It should never happen.  Monster souls don't persist after death.  There would be nothing to work with.  The being would just be a hollow shell of its old self."  He looked to Calibri.  "Alphys' problem was that she used Determination on dying monsters.  It...  could have worked in theory, but she hadn't taken into account that monster's bodies weren't as stable as human bodies."  He paused.  He had also made that mistake- Memoryhead popped into his mind before he shook that off too.  "I agree with you one hundred percent- let them rest."  Gaster signed, showing a small smile at her.  Necromancy was something only to be practiced with remains of surface-dwellers, as he had learned from experience, both with the Memoryhead amalgamate and Flowey alike.

Consolas looked away from them both for a small moment. As if in thought. "^.....i must return to the library. we're getting a new shipment of texts dated back to ancient rome. i managed to persuade the sellers to deliver them here instead of the smithsonian. heaven knows they can't take proper care of such delicate booka like these..." he huffed before going to get his bag.

Calibri watched him go and followed after him to help. "Oh! That sounds nice. I'll have to drop by your library and check out a book sometime. Maybe I'll find a new novel to read since I've already read the ones in the Underground's Librarby."

Consolas gave her a small smile, not even going to ask about this Librarby she was talking about. "^i'll prepare a library card for you when you arrive, big sister."

"Oh, what, no library card for me?"  Gaster half-joked at the other, looking at Calibri and grinning.  "Your brother is quite a character.  Seeing his stature and hearing of his profession, I didn't expect him to be so bold."  He signed silently as he watched the other grab his bag with his back turned to the two of them.  Once he noticed Consolas turning toward them again, he looked him in the eyes.  "You should stop by the Underground's Librarby some time, speaking of.  They have many good books that you would probably find very interesting, knowing what a bookworm you are."  His eyes narrowed slightly, but his grin still remained.  "Perhaps you could learn something new, hm?"  The scientist questioned, a carefully hidden, yet very direct jab at the other.

Consolas kept a blank expression on his face, but he heard that clear as day. Two could play at this game, cretin. "^i was about to say the same thing to you, doctor. hopefully my collection won't intimidate you." He reached a hand out and shook the man's hand politely. And when they both got close, he whispered to him so Calibri wouldn't hear. "^that is if you can even walk on the surface without turning back into the mountain like a coward." And with that, he removed his hand from Gaster's and waved his sister goodbye.

Leaving their home, Consolas made his way back towards the Surface and Calibri hummed a bit in thought. "A lot of my family is up there...I wonder what it's all like now. I bet they have a lot of high-tech stuff. You and Sans would just love that~"

Gaster's eyes narrowed at the other, but he let him have the last word, simply gritting his teeth in response. Glancing over at Calibri, he worked hard to calm himself again, but it was difficult with all of the tension that had occurred. "I would love to do that." He was really still hesitant about leaving the Underground, but with how he had been spoken to, he became determined. Determined to show this fool that he was wrong about him. "Sans would be so excited and it's about time for his old man to get over this irrational fear." It was so petty, but he justified it with the fact that maybe this would do them good. Maybe the surface wasn't as bad as people said. "I bet Papyrus would enjoy it too. We'll bring them both." Such confidence was uncharacteristic of Gaster, but he felt a need to prove the other wrong.

((Let's assume that everyone's an adult here, including the boys. xD ))

"Really~?!" In the heat of the moment, Calibri practically pounced onto her husband and covered his face in happy, skeleton kisses. Calibri was always the emotional one in the family. Always with the hugs and kisses. When she was done, she was already headed up to get things packed. "I'm going to go and pack suitcases and get boxes set up in every room. BOYS, WE'RE MOVING TO THE SURFACE!!" she exclaimed, causing both skeletons upstairs to poke their heads out of their rooms. Sans looked a little tired (he had been taking his daily nap) and Papyrus had on headphones (he was listening to MTT's new album).

"WHAT DID SHE SAY, SANS?" Papyrus asked while removing a headphone. "DID SHE SAY THE SURFACE?"

Gaster blinked a few times, eyes widening. "Wait, wait- I didn't say we could move to the surface. I said we could visit the surface." He frantically began signing as he watched her hurrying towards the room. "Calibri-". He sprinted after her.
Sans tilted his head, watching the chase take place before groggily looking over at Papyrus. "She says we're moving to the surface." He said, yawning. "Not sure when that happened, but I'm already all packed." He glanced at his mess of a room. Eh, better to start fresh, if this was really happening. Sniffing the pits of his hoodie, he shrugged. It smelled fine, he thought. It'd last him a few more days before he'd have to wash it. He really didn't have too many valuables, so what he had said wasn't a complete lie.

((So is this post-barrier breaking, then? Or what do you think?))

((I would think something like that would be interesting since Gaster needed time to get out of the Void. xP So like they would have to stay just for all of that. xD ))

Calibri was already getting ready and knowing her, this was happening. Even Papyrus was off into his room, getting his things packed. "WOWIE~!! WE'RE ALL MOVING TO THE SURFACE! OH, SUCH A HAPPY DAY! I'M GOING TO BE A MASTER CHEF AND I'LL BE UP THERE DRIVING AROUND IN MY OWN RED SPORTS CAR! AND I'LL BE UP THERE TRAINING WITH UNDYNE LIKE OLD TIMES~!!" A lot of monsters had moved up above once the barrier had broken. Sadly, the skeleton family stayed behind, but mostly since they felt that something was missing.

That something was Gaster. Calibri just couldn't leave without knowing what happened to him, and when Sans finally explained everything, Calibri made it her goal to get him back. And out of pure luck, Sans was able to figure out how to fix the machine. And out came her husband and the rest of the lab workers that got sucked into the Void with him. But now with everyone back, things just felt and became...normal. Calibri couldn't be happier to have her family back together again.

((Alright sounds good to me!))

"I can't- we can't. We can't move up there. It's not good. Calibri, look at me." He signed. "The surface is no place for monsters. The surface isn't good." The scientist stood in the doorway, continuing to sign frantically. "Just a visit. This is too sudden. I haven't even had time to plan a trip or map out what we would do or where we would go if there was an emergency. We can't." He insisted, sweat already beginning to drip down his face.

"Nice, bro. You oughta get one. You deserve it for bein' so cool." Sans yawned and flopped onto his mattress again, closing his eyes. "Wake me up when we're about to leave, huh? I'm ready." He murmured before promptly beginning to snore obnoxiously.

((Ugh, why is drawing women so hard?! It's weird since I am one. x'D You'd think I'd be more skilled because of that. BI ))

"What do you mean this is too sudden? The boys are already ready to move! Right boys?" she called out, hearing Sans' snore, but Papyrus' affirmative.

"YES! I HAVE ALREADY PACKED UP MY BOOKS AND AM MOVING TO MY CLOTHES. SHALL I GET THINGS PACKED DOWNSTAIRS AS WELL, MOTHER?" Papyrus asked and Calibri smiled as she got her two massive suitcases and opened them up, already stuffing all of her clothes inside.

"Yes, sweetie! And don't worry about your father, I'll make sure he has a pleasant visit up on the surface."

"OH? AND HOW WILL YOU DO THAT, MOTHER?"

"When you find your soulmate, you'll know. For now, put on your headphones, please." Uh oh...

"RIGHTY-O, MOTHER~!" And the skeleton did as she said as he went back to packing his things. When the door closed to his room, she smiled deviously and went over to their bedroom door to close and lock it. And when she turned back to Gaster, her eye sockets with alight with red and she had a determined look on her face.

"So, you're thinking of backing out? But our children are already so excited. You wouldn't want to make them upset...would you, Wing Ding...~?" she asked while slowly sauntering up to him. Calibri may or may not have borrowed Papyrus' dating manual... "Would you want to make ME upset...?" she asked while coming up to wrap her arms around his neck.

((Nothing will happen, but I enjoy making Gaster blush. B)  ))

((dude same here! But actually I'm pretty bad with proportions as a whole. I really have to work on that stuff- and dudes' bodies are squares like what the hell its so confusing when trying to make it work))

Gaster blinked a few times, stepping away from her before he felt her arms come around his neck. He bit his lip, his cheeks turning a bright blue. Shaking his head a few times, he agreed. "No, no- I wouldn't want to upset you- I just..." He stopped his signing for a moment. "I just think it's a bad idea. I just got back together with you all. I got together with my family after all that time alone in the void. I don't want to risk losing everyone again. I... don't like this idea." The scientist signed, shaking his head again. "It's dangerous up there. We shouldn't just move to the surface without fact checking anything about it first."

((Yeah, I kinda told that to my cousin. "They're all pretty much just shapes". x'D ))

"But everyone's already up there. Even the King and Queen. Even the Ambassador! And they're helping to make sure monsters don't get hurt...Times have changed, Wing Ding. Monsters are living up on the surface and...don't you think you've lived in this mountain long enough? The one thing I wanted to show you and the boys were the stars..." she sighed as she placed her hands on his chest. She gave him the sad skelly eyes and she was practically pouting now. She knew how to pull her husband's strings.

"Come on, Wing Ding. Please...? Don't hide in the dark anymore..."

((it's so true!))

Gaster fussed with his hands, shaking his head slightly. "I'm no good with change." He finally signed, staring at the door to the upstairs hallway. "I'm just a little hesitant about this. You understand, don't you?" His hands moved more fluidly now that he had gotten over the initial shock. "I just think we should take a trip up there first before making any decisions about moving. I'm already hesitant about stepping foot up there- its too nerve wracking for us all to just haul everything up there and hope for the best. Please-- I'll set you in the middle. We can have a vacation there for a little while. Vacation first, moving later? What do you say to that?"

((Verdana is done and now onto Palatino! He is gonna wear a beanie and he's gonna carry around a satchel that's pretty much like Mary Poppins bag. x'D He will be cute and huggable, darn it!! x'3 ))

Calibri's mood seemed to dim just a bit. To be honest, she missed the surface more than anyone probably should. Mostly because she grew up there. "....Fine...but the boys are going to be a little upset about it...Well, Papyrus. Sans is fine with just about anything. I, however, am not okay with how he isn't packing clean clothing. Give me a second here--" Letting go of him, she moved back to the door and unlocked it before shouting out to Sans. "SANS SERIF GASTER, YOU STINKY LITTLE SKELLY, YOU CLEAN YOUR CLOTHES RIGHT THIS INSTANT!! WE WILL NOT LEAVE THIS HOUSE UNTIL YOU AND YOUR CLOTHES SMELL OF LAVENDER!! AND NO KETCHUP FOR A MONTH IF YOU GO AGAINST ME, YOUNG MAN!" And at that, she closed the door again and smiled brightly.

"There we go~!" That had to be said. She had been holding that in all week now...

((aww! ;u; I can't wait to see him!
Hey I also gotta ask you a question. Did you have an interest with rping with evil or morally grey Gaster at any point in time, or are you just gonna stick to Dadster (and possibly Mr. Void in the future)? I forget what you said about that, and so I don't want to drop starters if they will be something that doesn't interest you.))

"I'm sorry, Calibri. But... I can't. I can't just blindly move to a place that is so senselessly violent. I need to at least see it first." Gaster signed quietly, glancing to the side. He jumped slightly when he heard her yelling st Sans, and only then did a small grin break out on his features. "Pff-". He put his hands over his mouth, suppressing a small chuckle.

Sans, on the other hand, was having a less than stellar time. Startled by the yell, a thump had been heard, indicating that the short skeleton literally fell off his mattress at the loud voice. After getting over the initial shock, he groaned. "Okay, I'll do it." Sans responded before promptly pulling his blankets back over his head and falling back to sleep, this time on the floor.

(( did that to my own mom very frequently hahah ))

((Yeah, but I feel like it'll go downhill. Like not humor and just more anger than anything since evil Gaster is evil and morally grey Gaster will feel the wrath of the guilt trip like 24/7 from Calibri. XD ))

"Times change, sweetie. Just look at Sans! Before I left, he actually helped me around the house. Now he just lies around and does nothing while Papy and I clean. I swear, I am going to go to him with a soap bucket and a loofah in the next five seconds if he does not get up from that bed..." Eye activated, she glared right at her eldest baby's soul and she burned a glare so fierce, his soul felt it.

He should be feeling the sins cralling down his back right at this very moment. "But we'll gove you time to adjust. And besides, if my family can make it up on the surface, then so can our family!!" she exclaimed before coming over to him and planting a warm kiss on his lips. Or as close to one as a skeleton like her could give.

((sure, i understand.  ;u; thanks for clearing it up!  we'll stick with dadster and voidy, then))

Gaster frowned.  "It's a shame, but... I think having his entire family back will bring back some of his spunk, hopefully.  Depression is an easy spiral to fall into, but not so easy to get out of."  He tilted his head.  "All we can hope to do is be there for him and offer him support whenever he needs it.  I know he's been through a lot."  He returned the kiss, pulling her a little closer.  "If everything goes smoothly, we can move to the surface.  But I'm not quite ready yet."

Sans finally got out of bed, rubbing his head lightly and yawning.  He grabbed some towels and set them down in the bathroom.  Then, he went back to his room, rolling up all of his laundry into one ball and then bringing it to the laundry room.  He crammed the clothes into it before pouring a good amount of detergent in and starting it up.  Then, he took off his socks, shorts, hoodie, and shirt off, tossing them in as well.  That just left him in his boxers for now.  With that, he headed into the bathroom again, closing the door behind him, and started up the shower, turning it on high and letting the entire room steam up.

((Awesome. X3 ))

Calibri sighed and nodded her head before nuzzling into Gaster's neck, her gaze not really trained on anything particular. "I know...to both of those things. I suppose we'll take things slowly...And Sans shouldn't let Depression keep him secluded to his bed. At least getting up and ready for the day is good enough for me. And maybe him doing a bit of laundry every now and again. His room will end up becom landfill if we let him do nothing, Wing Ding. It'll soon lead out into the living room."

She chuckled thinking about it. But she heard Sans and smiled. She just wanted him to move about and feel better about himself, and nothing felt better than cleaning up. He may not agree with her now, but a clean body and room makes anyone feel better about themselves. Prouder.

((Because I am in the same boat as Sans, but I actually managed to get myself up out of bed these days. Staying in it is not a good feeling and it very much is the Depression keeping me in it most of the time. B\ Thus why I force myself out of it each and every day.))

((dude tell me about it. me too. im doing my best, but yeah- that bed is a pretty nice alternative to the outdoors a lot of the time. Depression is a horrible thing. All you can do is work through it, right? And hey- if it ever gets really bad for you, feel free to note me. I'll be here for you. Things like that are always easier when you've got a friend by your side ))

"I understand exactly what you're saying. It's become a real problem, but we can help him. He is lucky to have such a supportive family." Gaster signed, smiling over at her. "We'll all get him through this together." He turned to the side. "Well, I think we ought to get packing now for our trip. Shall we?" He questioned.

Sans stood in the shower, nearly falling asleep with his warm it was. He finally exited the shower and wrapped a towel around himself, heading into his room and digging around his drawers to find something to wear.

((It's fine. I'm actually going to therapy right now. Talking to someone there actually helps. I'm even going to group therapy. Not yet, but I will after my next sister comes along. xD Right now it's just my anxiety that's making things just a tad bit difficult for me. xP ))

With another smile, she gave his lips another peck before going back to her luggage to pack up for a trip. A week trip, at least. Just enough for Gaster to get a good feel of the surface. "You should go and talk to Papyrus. I'm sure he's already emptying everything out right now. He and I have incredible focus when it comes to the goal at hand! He's such a silly boy~" she giggled before she began to pack up a week worth of clothes. She even got her toiletries together. Luckily, she didn't need any shampoo or conditioner since she didn't even have any hair!

Gaster kissed back, smiling at her. "Fair enough. I'll inform him right now." He signed, taking out the suitcase from the side of the room and setting it in front of the bed. Then, he walked out and made his way towards Papyrus' room. He stood in the doorway and began signing again. "Knock knock." He grinned. Honestly, he was just as bad as Sans when it came to jokes.

Speaking of Sans, the short skeleton picked out some clothes for himself and put them on. A t-shirt and some shorts- just his style. Hearing that the laundry had stopped, he made his way over and switched it to the drier.

((Good for you. You're already ahead of the game. I could never go to group therapy because it feels too exposing for my tastes.
actually, I relate to the anxiety thing too. Having anxiety and depression is the worst because you want to run around the world and do everything, but at the same time, you just wanna lay in bed. So you lay there as your heart races. Nastiness. I'd recommend staying away from caffeine especially. Whenever I drink even the smallest amount of caffeine, it drives my anxiety up the walls.))
