Description
A picture I drew for 's contest, where u had to draw stone type pokΓ©mon.Well, the two I chose are - obiously - stone types and well... because both of them are sort of dinosaurs, i decided to draw them a bit like dinosaurs.
well.. i'm rather contetn, though there are many little things I'd like to redo, but I don't have the time to work it over again.
Used/needed:
-> The gimp
-> Grafic Tablet
-> about 5-6 hours

u guys r fightin ovr how good it looks while i think its the most amazing thing ive ever seen done to pokemon,i think its gorgeous! you should draw another one with aerodactyl biting rampardos or something...

Wow, this is great <3 Lovely background, and it's neat to see Aerodactyl and Rampardos portrayed like proper dinosaurs :3 especially Rampy, he gets no love D: I find Aero's wings murder to draw personally, so kudos to those too xD

I do always imagine pokΓ©mon how they could look, if they existed and well - aero and rampar are dinosaurs in my eyes, so i decided to try to make 'em look like dinosaurs ^^

Very nice lighting on the clouds, but it didn't carry over to the pokemon. u_u i like the figures and the dinosaurification, though. ^^

Oh, that makes sense. But it's like the light just disappears- like they're not part of the background at all. For example, Aerodactyl's right wing would be lit up from the other side. - I think you did a sufficiently good job making them a different texture and color without sacrificing the lighting.

I was going to make a comment about the Aerodactyl (which I didn't know was an Aerodactyl at the time) looking like a Rayquaza with wings stuck to it, until I Full Viewed it. X3
This is very well done, and I like how the Scales/Spines on Rampardos turned out. :3

Now this is what I call epic! Aerodactyl swooping down to take on Rampardos on the edge of a cliff, both with eyes glowing so maliciously and intensely! I can't get over how awesome this looks; if Pokemon were all like this, I can only imagine how terrified people would be, knowing something like these guys lurked in the tall grass just outside!

i always imagine pokΓ©mon more like animals than some cute partners of humans xD and even in the pokΓ©dex is described that, for example, pidgeotto eats magikarps. so it has to be the same with all the pokΓ©mons imo ^^
and well, these two guys woudn't really be living today, 'cause they lived probably 50 million years ago

I simply adore Aerodactyles pose, very dramatic and the eyes glowing only made it more suspenceful. And the clouds and lighting are superb, even with the light rays coming from the clouds it still has the feeling of the pervious storm. One problem I see is that the other pokemon is rather stiff and it takes away from the picture. Maybe a more leaned over pose, or put more detail in the anatomy of the arm, that could bring more emotion to that pokemon. But good job overall :3.
