Whaaaaaaaat but this is not an esk, the heck?

Correct!! I decided to mix up my gallery a little and occassionally do some creature designs or illustrations that do not contain esk in the future, just because cx
This one is for the creature exchange group, I got assigned to RivvilRothe c:

Anyway, I really hope you like this master chef right here, because I surely have a hard time parting with him haha <3
If you ever wondered what happens if a basilisk and a gryphon mate.... well here you go!

1 - What parts of your prompt were written well and easy to understand? Was there anything the writer of the prompt could improve on or include next time they create a prompt?
Actually all was written well and easy to understand! I didn't have any trouble with the description itself, pretty straight forward - just hope I was able to translate it well cx
The only thing I had a hard time with was combining arms for food preparation with feral, I know he looks kinda anthro now, but it was super tough to work around this ; v ;

2 - Please explain how you interpreted the prompt to create your design. Which features did you use? Did you stick to the chosen palette or make changes to it? Does the design you created have any special abilities or quirks?
I definitely wanted the secretary bird to be the main thing, heck I love these birds - great choice cx The snake part was a bit tricky, I tried scales first or a longer neck but it didn't really work, so I went with the medusa style approach and
gave him a lower snake body while keeping the secretary bird colours, it's up to you to decide if his lower body is fur or feathers <3
I tried really hard to stick to your palette, so I hope that turned out nicely c: The blue fire surely was a hella nice detail~
I tried attaching the pouch you requested to his anatomy, but it turned out to be a little too much, so I'm glad you also left open the option to it just being some kinda accessory, so now he has the fancy belt for spices and tools!!
The most fun part to design was actually the food preparation thing and I really hope I nailed that, because I thought 4 arms would make him one hell of a chef and making 4 arms and wings work was quite the challenge, but I am really happy how it turned out, I hope you are too!! c:
